Spring is certainly the best time to visit the city of Barcelona, which will not leave you disappointed even when it comes to fun. In addition to the Easter celebrations, the celebrations for Dia de Sant Jordi and various fairs and markets are scheduled.

Easter
On Easter day, religious services are held in the churches of the city that celebrate the Christian holiday and many public establishments are closed. However, you can find open restaurants offering a special menu for the occasion, and you can always take a look at the Fleadonia market in the Raval district.
Sant Jordi - The party of lovers
The day of Sant Jordi, or Day of Sant Jordi, (San Giorgio - April 23), patron saint of Catalonia, is for the Catalans the equivalent of our Valentine's Day.
During this day, which coincides with the International Book Day, it is customary to exchange gifts: usually men are given a book, while women are given a red rose.
If you are in Barcelona on this day, on the streets and in bookstores you will find numerous writers signing copies of their books. In particular, the area of the Avenue it is where most of the stalls selling books and florists are concentrated.

In April, in Barcelona, there is no shortage of cultural events.

Fairs and markets
If you like wandering around the stalls of a fair in search of something unique, or even just to browse a bit, there will certainly be opportunities for you.
