The Bar del Convent is located in the Born, and as you can guess from the name itself, it is located in the cloister of the convent of Sant Agustí. The cloister, obviously closed to traffic, is an ideal space for children to play while keeping them under control, and as if that were not enough inside the real bar you can find one space dedicated to games, with small tables and various toys, and high chairs for the little ones. In the bathroom you can find a space for changing in the common area. As for food, a children's menu is available, with options for intolerances.

Where and when

The Bar del Convent is located inside the building of the convent of Sant Agustí, the same as the Chocolate Museum. The closest metro stations are those of Jaume I (line 4) and Arc de Triomf (line 1). It opens Tuesday to Thursday from 10am to 00pm, and until 21pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The bar is closed on Sunday and Monday.

It has a very large space with tables and suitable chairs, as well as some shelves with games and books for the little ones. The place is famous for its chocolate, to try alone or with churros, but there are many other tasty things to try - the croissants are delicious - as well as an extensive children's menu with homemade cakes and natural fruit juices, all coming from organic and seasonal productions. It is a family-run place, without alcohol and without WiFi, as the sign at the entrance says, where you can taste a good chocolate while the children play.

Where and when

La Nena is located at Carrer de Ramón y Cajal, 36, in the Gràcia neighborhood. The closest metro stop is Fontana, on line 3. It opens every day from 9:00 to 22:00.

Pudding is one of those places that will make children happy already at the entrance: the decorations of the room seem to be taken directly from a fairy tale, and every detail is specially thought out. It can be said that the whole place has been designed to encourage children's creativity, with iPads, whiteboards, board games and projections. This is no coincidence, as Alicia, the manager, has worked on educational projects in New York, bringing cutting-edge methods. And the food? Simply excellent, there is a wide choice of cakes, all prepared with natural ingredients and suitable for children - try the cheesecake - as well as bagels, quiches and salads, all made with organic raw materials. Finally, in the bathroom there is the changing box.

Pudding is located in Carrer Pau Claris, 90, on the right side of the Eixample: it can be easily reached from Plaça de Catalunya, or by getting off at the Urquinaona metro stop (lines 1 and 4). It opens every day from 9:00 until 22:00, with early closure at 21:00 on Sundays. Closes on December 25th.

Located a few meters from the Sagrada Familia, the Forn de pà puiggròs is a bakery - café with a huge choice of baked goods: croissants, desserts, bocadillos and all kinds of bread, combined with a bar service which includesgreat hot chocolate and Italian coffee (Illy!). For lunch they have a fixed price menu, with sandwiches and toast of your choice: taking into account that it is very close to the Sagrada Familia, it can be a good alternative to complete a morning tour. The space between the tables is very large, so it is easy to enter with a stroller - in fact in the morning the place is filled with strollers - in addition to this there is a corner dedicated to the little ones with a table, a couple of games and some children's books. The laboratory of the actual oven is visible, so it is not uncommon to see children literally glued to the glass to see how bread and other sweets are made. Another important detail is the changing table in the bathroom.

The Forn Puiggròs is located in Avinguda de Gaudí, 39: it is a long pedestrian avenue that starts from the Sagrada Familia and goes up to the Recinte Modernista of the Sant Pau hospital, connecting two of the largest modernist works in Barcelona. It can be reached by metro from the Sant Pau - Dos de Maig stop (line 5), or from the Sagrada Familia stop (lines 2 and 5). It opens every day, except Sundays, from 8:00 to 19:00.

Albert is the author of the many creations that can be found on the counter every day: sweet and savory pies, cupcakes, sandwiches, ice cream and more. The cuisine is delicious: traditional sweets with 0 km ingredients, with an excellent variety of dishes available for all tastes and all times: breakfast, lunch and snack - try the savory croissants with jamón, and don't lose sight of the cakes, they are delicious. There is also a brunch option available from 9am until 00pm, with a fixed price menu of € 13.

Giulietta is located in Plaça Tetuan, 4 - the nearest metro stop is Tetuan (line 2), however you can easily get there on foot if you are near the Arc de Triomf: it is about 300 meters away. It opens Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 20:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 20:00.
