Escola Internacional Benjamin Franklin: what do users think?

Jordi Estética: bfis has an okay education, but the rules are very bad. before you send your kid to bfis check if raxhel hovington is the principal, if she is dont send your kid. send them to asb

Utku Unal: This is by far the best international school in BCN. Strong points are: Very well balanced classes for mixing international and local families, your kid will learn English first for sure. The community is very strong and engaging. Facilities are decent and teachers are excellent.

César Goya: A differentiated American curriculum from Nursery to Grade 12.Strong, fully accredited academic program awarding three diplomas: the American High School Diploma, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, and the Spanish Bachillerato Certificate.

St. Peter's School, Barcelona: what do users think?

valerio valenti: we could no choice a better school than St Peter for our son, in just one year he is able to speak and understand english (his level was super poor when he started). This was thanks to the amazing teachers really looking after him by always supporting and taking care of him. We really love the atmosphere, the attention and the program followed by the school and also the facilties and extra school activities are on a very high level! My son is so happy to be part of ST Peter because he feel part of something special and the same is valid for us as parents! I would recommend the school to everyone looking for the best school in town !
Response: Thank you, Valerio, for this fantastic review. We are very proud of how much your son improved his English, but above all, we are proud to see him adapted and happy!

Awhxami: Love this school :D´

Manel Unica: Great team. Fantastic place for study.!

Antonia Linde Garcia: My son has participated in the summer camp and it has been fantastic. Both the activities that are carried out and the attention and professionalism of the monitors and teachers are exceptional. I definitely recommend them!
Response: Thank you for your review, Antonia. We hope to see you next course!

Maria Dolores del Carmen Hernandez: For starters, if I could I would give it 0 stars. The school does not listen to the needs of its students, a priority within a center.

Victoria Benito: A school of 10. I went there to do a debate, and the facilities were great. Excellent food and excellent teachers.

American School of Barcelona (ASB): what do users think?

Bosco Lara Dominguez: This school is a very nice school with great education and great campus, the only thing that ASB has to fix is that many people are mean and disrespectful, but if you moved to Barcelona this is top 1.

M M: This school did not accept our son with minor learning speech impediment and a history of chronic health issue. We are looking to relocate to Barcelona and we wanted to send our two sons to this school. They are both American citizens and have been going to school in the states until now. They told us that they had spots available and they were very interested at the beginning. After hearing our story they changed their mind and they said they could not offer us a spot because it was more than they could handle. During the application process the school asked for medical and medicine records (not immunizations!), previous required school support and progress reports. One of my kids has a medical chronic condition that does not affect his learning and he does not need any major support. The younger has a minor speech impediment and his teachers have repeatedly said it is nothing to be concerned about. It is typical in the US to provide support for minor learning difficulties in public schools, so that is why they had a report mentioning these points. His current teacher said she was shocked about the ASB school decision. I understand it is a private school and they can freely reject anyone, but I would hope private entities also stand for basic ethics and diversity and inclusions principles, especially when they have a name that seems to represent a country as the US. It is also interesting that one of the most expensive schools in Barcelona is not willing to give an opportunity to kids with minor learning challenges or chronic health condition. I wanted to write this review so other parents that take their kids to this school or potential new students realize how other kids are treated and hopefully demand change. We are not building strong kids and community by separating them from others that are less privileged.

Juan José Terraza Torra: Best school in town by far!International english-speaking environement with top quality education and campus.

Peter Freer: After a worldwide search, my family moved to Barcelona from NYC in 2014 and could not have been luckier to land at ASB. Our kids are thriving and have so many opportunities to challenge themselves both in and out of the classroom. The entire school has a culture of continuous improvement and we have seen tremendous growth (new ES building, new MS/Gym/Auditorium building, increased focus on the arts, sports, science, and math are just a few examples) in a short period of time. We are so grateful to be a part of the ASB community. Go Lynx!

ana perez: When you travel form Boston to Barcelona with three kids, you look for the best school to make their transition smoothly. Glad we chose ASB! Best teachers ever who helped my kids to adapt and who understand that sometimes is not easy for them, best administration who always are willing to help you, best campus where kids can be kids and best community with great families and different cultures. We cannot be prouder to be part of the ASB Community, happy kids happy parents!!!

Laia Roca: I rlly liked it and I thought it was a great school, I still remember all of my friends, and I rlly miss all, moving away was so hard! Luv this school, I will never forget it!

Ádám Bacsa Sánta: I love this school all teachers a re really nice and is from kindergarten to 12th grade

Nikdov 245: 5 star!✅✅✅✅✅✅✅🤔😴⬛

Jacob: honestly imma keep a buck it was one of the funniest times of my life and its been downhill ever since

BHS - Barcelona High School - International American School: what do users think?

Anita Hollerer-Squire: We enrolled our daughter at BHS and it was the best decision ever. She absolutely loves this school and made friends instantly. Amanda and all the teachers are amazing! Subjects like math and chemistry (which she never liked before) she now enjoys because of the excellent teachers. The school environment is inclusive, open and fun. I can highly recommend this school.
Response: Thank you so much for your review! We are so glad that you chose BHS as your daughter is an amazing addition to our growing school.

Netta gilon: We enrolled our son in BHS, mainly since he needed flexibility in his studies and hours, being a tennis player. Although he was the youngest in class, and it took him some time to adjust to the new system and friends, quite quickly he started blooming. Amanda is an amazing, attentive person, and I always felt safe to turn to her for help and advice. She understood our son and his needs very well, and always came up with creative solutions. The teachers, the atmosphere and the urban environment create together a unique school experience, and Akida makes sure to engage all the student together with interesting activities..all together our son felt happy and safe this year. Much recommended for anyone who needs something a bit different from the standard academic system!
Response: Thank you so much for your kind words. You have an amazing son. His future is very bright.

Nancy Hamza: I’ve been attending BHS for 2 year now and I’ve never felt more comfortable in my life. Assignments are fun challenging and electives are endless so I chose graphic design because I’m majoring it next year since I’m graduating this year. Barcelona high school you changed my perspectives on schools because I was always very anxious at the schools but everyone here feels like family and it’s my home away from home and I never really expected to say that about a educational school system. I’ve felt more creative ever since I started attending BHS, I also felt very loved and understood when I needed to be. Thank you Akida and Amanda for creating a healthy safe space for everyone to learn ,to be safe, comfortable and enjoying school!
Response: Nancy, it was like yesterday that you contacted BHS saying that you wanted to enroll and how your experience in American school in Cairo, Egypt wasn't the best. And now to see the person who you have become and going to your #1 choice in university brings us so much joy! We hope that you will continue to visit us while attending university in Barcelona. Shukran habibti!

Tahlia Wenban: I attended BHS for my last year of high school. From day one, I knew I had made a good choice. At BHS I feel safe, heard and supported. Students are kind and accepting and there is a sense of collaboration and support in the group. The school holds a powerful community, adaptable to different learning styles and needs. I am forever grateful to the teachers, Amanda and Ciarán who really listen to the students and provide amazing guidance and care. As well as feeling safe, I feel challenged to grow and question my beliefs through numerous group activities and discussions. Thank you Amanda, Ciarán and Akida, it is a pleasure to be at BHS!
Response: Tahlia thank you so much for your kind words. It feels really good to know that you feel this way about your experience with us. You are such an amazing student and person and we were so glad that you got accepted into so many universities from the UK to Europe to Canada. Whatever decision you make in choosing your university will be the right one because you will choose with your heart. All the best to you and your brother Matisse. It's an honor to have you as part of our first graduating class at BHS.

Vladyslav Losytskyi: Amazing school!!! That was a really exciting experience for me to be studying and being a part of this English-speaking school. The teachers are very kind, professional, and always willing to help. I recommend this school to everyone!
Response: Vlad thank you so much for this wonderful review! You are an amazing student and your future is so bright.

Hassan Khalil Dia: Dear Mr. Akida and the great team at BHS. I would like to leave my sincere testimony of my own experience with BHS. We have faced some difficulties leading with my daughter’s different schools issues owning to our moving into several countries, for my and her good luck we reached BHS by recommendation of a friend. Since then i lost my worries about my daughter, me and all the family noticed how far better she became, not only at school, but her behavior her personality and self confidence. I’m more then satisfied, I’m Amazed. Thank you Akida, thank you all BHS team. May God Bless you Hassan K. Dia
Response: Hassan, thank you so much for your kind review! Celyn is an amazing person and student. We look forward to her future success in university and beyond.

Liana Segev: I am a student in BHS and I can say with certainty that this was the best decision I have ever made in terms of my academic journey. I am currently studying online and Amanda, Akida and the rest of the staff are super supporting and always attend anyone who needs help.

Barcelona Montessori School: what do users think?

Amelie van de Pol: Our 18 months old daughter started this year and the experience for both her and us has been amazing. The team looking after the little ones is very caring, patient and professional. They take their time for a smooth integration, the communication with parents is easy and the Montessori pedagogy is well implemented. They sent daily updates and pictures. My daughter loves it there!

Lou Cabrolie: I couldn’t think of a better school for my kids.We wanted a school with a nurturing environment for our children to thrive in, and it was important for us to find a Montessori school. Both my 2yo and 5yo daughters enjoy going to school every morning. BMS was (and still is) our first and only choice !

Alexey: I want to thank the entire BMC team and especially Tim and Abi in person for the incredible humanity and support showed to us and our children in this difficult time. Our two girls, ages five and ten, joined easily into the great prepared montessori space and found new friends! Muchísimas gracias!! 🇺🇦🇪🇸

Eléonore: Seems a nice little school but... Horrendous admission process. Almost 3 months to give us a negative answer, for reasons known from the start. Have a plan B. Still really amateur.

Camila Gispert Badia: Excellent professionals and inspiring project. Our son loves going to school thanks to the wonderful work they do. We could not be more happy with the school we chose!

Reto Moser: I wish I would have been going to that school! Our twins are soo happy to go to school - every day! Great team, great place, great approach!

puppie leo: Beautiful family school

Cecilia Silva: We have been a founding family since Nido was created and we continue with Tim and Abi at BMS. My son has been in the school for 7 years learning with the Montessori method and my daughter has been 5. We have seen the project grow and become what it is now, a school with important values with super professional people.

Carmen Moore: Not recommended especially because teachers change sometimes up to two times a week. For example, in 6 months of class I had 17 different teachers. It is hard to learn without a consistent teacher. They say it is maximum 10 students a class but when a teacher doesn’t show up they group two classes, close to the same level in a conference room...together and it can be up to 18 students. This happened at least 10 times in 6 months. The class is taught on group majority but since it is a business if they don’t have people in your level they will just put you in the closest group. Conversation classes are a waste of money because over 10 students to 1 teacher are put together and you are expected to talk to each other. 1/2 of the teachers are good professors, all of them are kind but some are not the most professional and prefer to talk 1.5 hours of the class and then send you home with the homework. Housing is 2-3x what you pay outside of the school (a room for a month in BCN is €300-600) and you can’t even have guests over. Once you pay, even if you are not satisfied and are not getting what you expected, you don’t get your money back (without purchasing insurance which they don’t tell you exists.) It is overpriced for what you are actually getting. Edit: Go to “Dime school” for a more intimate positive experience.
Response: Hello We would like to get in touch with you. Could you provide us with your email or registration number, by email help@enforex.com? Thank you

Maryna Sokyrko: I enjoyed studying at this school. I liked that they have different teachers for different subjects: gramma, speaking etc. I liked school location, and inside the school it was really nice and comfortable. If you feel that you need to change a level you can do it, it is not prohibited. A few comments: - it may be nice to provide pen and notebook for students. At least have them ob demand. I needed to go to the supermarket on the break to buy a notebook. - it would be cool to have free water. Speaking about coffee, it is possible to pay with coins only, which is not very comfortable.
Response: Thank you very much for your kind words! We take note of your feedback to improve our school. Thank you!

Alexey Тikhonov: My daughter 15.y.o. went to the Spanish summer camp this year to Barcelona. She returned with in general good opinion. On the good side she liked the staff, schedule, entertainment, quality of lessons. She made a lot of new friends. When it come to improvement opportunities she mentioned organization/waiting time, food variety, small outdoor area in the camp, length of excursion( long drive, short time there). In general - good to go. Maybe a bit overpriced.
Response: Hello Alexey. Thanks for your comment! We take note of your feedback in order to improve in the future.

Elena Fomchenko: Positive: ProfessionalismHighly professional staff both teachers and administration along with nice facilities.
Response: Thank you very much for your review, Elena. We hope to have you back in our schools soon!

Response: Sorry to hear about that, Richard! Can you elaborate on what have we been doing wrong at Enforex Barcelona at help@enforex.com ? Thank you

焦味儿荷包蛋: The language I have studied here for a year has helped me a lot, and the teachers are also very good! Have fun in class every day

Sonia Ruiz paz: My only downside is the exaggeration of cars in the area, the people who want to pass to take the roundabout and go to Masnou etc. we eat them stopping in the middle of the street to pick up their children, the waits do not think they stop and point.
Response: Dear Sonia, We are sorry to hear about your experience. We appreciate your insights and will explore this into more detail. Thank you.

My Barcelona School: what do users think?

John O'Dwyer: I would heartily recommend Anya. Like most other people recommending Anya, we felt she really listened toh us and probed us to uncover what would be the best school for our four year old son. She arranged visits to four schools, all of which we would have been happy with. We are moving over next week and ave our son sorted with a summer camp and a school and Anya is still keeping in touch with a school for our son should we decide to remain for a second year. H
Response: Thanks, John. I've enjoyed working with you and your family.

Nammi Vijayakumar: Moving to a new country that is non-English speaking is daunting and finding a good school for our kids was our number one priority. Anya’s services were invaluable. She rigorously noted down all our preferences, took our kids’ personalities and our lifestyle choices into account and provided a really great selection of schools. Anya also accompanied on us all our school tours when we were in Barcelona and all three of the top choices she helped us narrow down our list to were great. We would have been comfortable enrolling the kids in any of the three schools which really speaks to Anya’s abilities to match her clients preferences with the appropriate schools. The whole process really helped ease the anxiety over the kids’ education. I would highly highly recommend Anya’s services to anyone looking for assistance with the Barcelona school system.
Response: Thank you, Nammi!

Hillary Jayne: Anya helped our family find the perfect school for our almost 4 year old son. She took the time to get to know our family and what we were looking for in a school. She expedited the process for us, talking with us via zoom before we even arrived and walked us through the entire process of school visits, applications and enrolment. Her insight was invaluable and her service second to none. I highly recommend her service.
Response: Thanks Hillary, I appreciate the feedback.

Karla Estrada: Anya provided us with a professional and reliable service. She really listened to us and understood our needs and priorities, patiently answering all our questions. She provided additional information about the schools we were interested in Barcelona which helped us to make the best choice for our family. Thanks Anya!
Response: Thanks Karla, I appreciate the feedback!

Yvonne Dam: Highly recommend my Barcelona School. Moving from the Netherlands, we were looking for a secondary school for our daughter, who has the superpower of being dyslexic. Since not all schools recognise this as such, we thought it best to have an expert locally present to help us. We went for the VIP package and were indeed treated as such. Anya explained the various schools, asked us for our preferences, and then came up with a list of possible schools. She also arranged visits and communicated with the schools. Above all, she was there to advise and guide us. As a result, we have found some excellent schools and feel that our chosen one is best suited for our daughter.
Response: Thank you Yvonne, I appreciate the feedback. It was great working with you and your family.

Katie Ales: I have lived in Barcelona for a while, I have a spanish husband and I have done my own research on schools- yet I still found the whole application and school selection process for my 4 year old overwhelming! Anya at MyBarcelonaSchool was so great at listening to all of my concerns and gave personalised advice and insights based on our families requirements. We were looking for schools in the area of San Cugat which she is also very knowledgable about and she provided lots of information on the schools we were interested in to help us make a choice we were comfortable with. For me it was so useful to have a knowledgeable person to discuss options with and help me decide what was really important. The school system seems very different from my home country and Anya helped me to feel much more secure in our choices and gave pointers to look out for when speaking with schools. I highly recommend MyBarcelonaSchool for anyone who needs support making the right school choice for their child. Thanks Anya!

Sejal Parekh: Anya helped us to find a fantastic concertada for our daughter when we wanted to switch schools very late into the application process - she went above and beyond what we could have asked for and helped us secure 1-1 meetings with senior members of staff. Her service is not only informed but highly personalised. Anya understood our criteria immediately, giving us really vital input & guidance without imposing her personal opinions onto us. Taking away all of the stress of the application process we were able to focus on making the right selection for our daughter.
Response: Thanks for your feedback - I appreciate it.

Carolyn Daher: Anya was so helpful in working with us to identify a range of school options to fit our needs. In the mist of the pandemic and all the changes and online form, she was a lifesaver. I would recommend her highly.

UTAE Sant Joan de Déu: what do users think?

remei banus: Doctor Roser Colomer, our daughter is already a nurse, thanks to you and your team, dyslexia has not been a problem, it is another way of studying. congratulations

Andrea Valdivia Chalco: The contact telephone number for UTAE is to make an appointment. And when you ask the price to find out if you will be able to bear the cost or not, they do not give you the price and you have to specifically ask for it at the physical reception. In addition, in a follow-up visit we agreed with the psychologist (through a personal call with her) €65 per session but at reception they wanted to charge us €120. Fortunately, a person in charge came to fix it. I do not see transparency in prices. And taking into account that autism treatment does not exist in public care, you should take into account the economic issue for families that we want you to care for our relative.
Response: Hello Andrea, we deeply regret your bad experience at the Hospital at this time. We have discussed it with the team and we know that it was a misunderstanding between our professionals. The price of a first visit is different from the prices of subsequent visits. You can find the prices at our consultation. Greetings.

Alejandro Rojas: Excellent center with good, well-trained specialists. It is a private center and as a private center, they charge, but this service is not offered by public means. We are very happy with the treatment received and little by little we are seeing improvement that we had not seen with optometry or kumon.

Montse palacin bergas: A center with great professionals. Our experience has been very positive and has helped our son a lot, which as parents is what matters most to us. 100% recommended

Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Hospital: what do users think?

Olena Obukhovska: Great personnel, they help confused tourists with their 11-monyh old sick baby fast and professionally. Thank you so much! Also, it is a very beautiful building, both internally and externally.

Marouane Bouhajra: Personal very professional, very friendly, and very helpful. in my opinion that is an example of how a Hospital should be. I hope they get paid well for their excellent service.

Daniel Hires: Deeply grateful for every single person at this amazing hospital! Our daughter’s birth was absolutely outstanding: We experienced only dedicated, professional, caring, smart and empathetic people who never hesitated to provide us medical safety and personal comfort. We could not be more happy that her journey started in this world-class hospital.

Matthieu Pujol: Clean, modern, the staff was kind to our baby and to us, helpful, efficient. Wish we were told about this place before we went to other options. One thing to improve: take urine earlier, even if you might not use it. After two blood works, they finally decided to investigate but baby had no more pee left. Waiting for the pee+analysis added about 3h to an already long night... Seems nonsensical to us.

Эко Сумки: few words of a Hospital Hospitality service. great work and big thank from me and my son. Mehdi helped us to find and arrange apartaments near the hospital to stay for the period medical check up in Sant Joan de Deu hospital. Thank you!

Olé - Spanish School in Barcelona: what do users think?

Chelsea Jones: Cristina is such an amazing teacher and my favorite at Olé! In the past I’ve often felt nervous speaking Spanish, but Cristina is very encouraging and has pushed me to improve much faster than ever before. Her classes are also fun and she is such a wonderful person that it sometimes doesn’t even feel like studying. I feel really lucky to have her as a teacher and would recommend her to anyone!
Response: Thank you Chelsea! Cristina will be very happy after seeing your comment :). Thanks for recommending us!

Alexander Santos: Been attending Olé for 6 months and getting better everyday! The classrooms are very clean, the teachers are all professional and most important of all, the students are limited to small groups for maximum learning. Looking forward to more classes!
Response: Thanks Alex! We appreciate it! You still have more courses so go ahead! ;). You have improved your Spanish a lot and you should be proud of you!

Dina A: Started from not speaking any Spanish to now being in C1 :) The teachers are very kind and helpful and welcome all questions to ensure our understanding. The school also offers free weekly activities allowing you to explore the city while also making new friends. I’ve had a great experience and highly recommend to anyone who’s looking to learn Spanish in a welcoming environment!!
Response: Thank you so much Dina for recommending the school. We are happy that you are enjoying the experience finding our teachers friendly and helpful! You really took advantages of the courses! Saludos

Logen Bogen (LogenBogenEntertainment): I was there in 2013 and I had very good time. The teachers were wonderful and I improved my Spanish well. When I went back to school in Germany , I felt confident speaking Spanish in my Spanish class.
Response: Hola!! Many thanks for taking time to write a review and still remember the school ;). We are proud that you felt more confident speaking Spanish after studying at Olé! :)

Olga Bogdan: Great school with amazing teachers. I did intensive course 4 hours a day - the lessons were very interesting and diverse, I was never bored and I have learnt a lot. On the first part we were studying more grammar and the second part was focused only on vocabulary and speaking, so the combination was very efficient. I recommend this school a lot! Cristina and Marcos - sois unos cracks ❤️
Response: Many thanks Olga! You have explained our intensive course pretty well :)))). We are glad that you are enjoying the course. Regards

Paulina Nowak: Amazing school in a very centre od Barcelona, just 10 min by walk from Passaig de Gracia. That school was a great choice. When I came for the first time at the end of september 2021, my level of spanish was completely zero. One week ago I finished course on level C1. After less than 10 months I’m able to work in the spanish company. I still have a lot to learn, but every week I’m improving. The teachers are trully passionate about their work and are helping a lot. Special thanks to: Carmen, Cristina, Almu, Marcos and Valerio:) I highly recommend to everyone who wants to learn spanish.
Response: Thank you a lot Paulina! You have done an amazing job getting C1 level. We are really glad that you spent a great time at Olé and considered the school an excellent choice :). Enjoy your holidays! You deserved it!
