Mah Pac: Fantastic way to start the day with a cool relaxing- environment. best breakfast meal I have ever had in a while. They were busy and the staff definitely made a space for a family of nine. Definitely will come back here again!! The whole family loved their food.

Danny Riley: Perfect. Came here after leaving another place because of a bad experience. I recommend the rancheros. Delicious and very filling. The coffee is thick and tasty too. Wait staff are friendly and chilled. Music is bumpy and energetic. There’s an outside dining area at the front as well. Enjoy.

Tanya Kashtanya: Great, yummy, worth to wait brunch. Absolutely delicious pulled pork dish, big portions. Firstly, my poached eggs were overcooked, so I asked to remake them. Which was quickly done, so its okay. For weekend brunch, it fills in very quickly 🙃hurry up

Dominick Constantinou: Excellent friendly service and very tasty food. Came here for some late brunch and we weren’t disappointed. Fresh lemonade was perfect to go alongside the cheeseburger and poached eggs with pulled pork that we ordered. Both meals were delicious 👌 Nice chilled atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.

Sarah E: French toast was delicious! The cheesecake cream was perfectly sweet and savory, and the toast itself was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just perfect. Great mimosas as well, so cute and pleasantly strong! And all the staff are so friendly and welcoming, truly a wonderful experience eating here!! :)

Courtney S: Caravelle is my type of place. The vibe was exactly how I like, our waitress was amazing. The food *chefs kiss*. We went around noon, but they weren’t serving actual lunch items until 1300. Dirty chai was amazing, we both split the pulled pork Bennie and French toast, and ended our meal with a cookie skillet. It was all perfect. There was indoor and outdoor seating available, as well as a beer selection since they do have a brewery.

Samantha Smith: Stop scrolling trying to find brunch places. This is it!!! I wish we would have found this earlier in our trip. We ordered: cappuccino, espresso, rancheros, eggs on toasted sourdough, and a pancake. Everything was so delicious. The pancake was sweet but amazing. Highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND the rancheros. Make sure to get the spicy chipotle sauce on the side and add it! It brings it to a different level. A great place all around and the staff are polite and attentive. Will be going again!

Valentina Gaddia: I visited Lockdown Bar yesterday for the Aperitivo time. Got to know on Wednesday at 8pm they do happy hour with free focaccias and tapas with any drink you order. I had a real good time, friendly staff, cool and stylish place and a large terracce on a quite square. I will defenetly go back!!

Jayna S.: On our first night we wanted to grab a quick beer and close to our hotel was Bar Lockdown. Immediately we were hooked on the name so we visited the place. Its a small bar with an oldskool rock look which is really nice for the vibe they have. Billy, the owner, served us the entire evening and we had a blast. Surely check them out. Tim Tomlinson: Top end cocktail bar and priced accordingly, but worth it.All the fun of the fair in a glass.Completely recommended if you want something significantly more special than your typical place.
Daniel: AMAZING cocktail bar. Expensive cocktails but you get what you pay for and the service is top notch. If unsure about what cocktail you want just give the bartender an idea of what you are looking for and they will be happy to create something. Free popcorn is a nice touch also. Must visit if in Barcelona.

Saskia Ahaaha: On the pro side: the excellent friendliness of the staff. The bar looks and feels cozy with its circus interior. Other people seemed to enjoy their drinks. On the con side: staff was unable to follow up with guests. We waited for an hour on a dirty table and were forgotten about because some extra demanding ladies stressed the poor service staff. The drinks were okay but underwhelming. All in all, a disappointing experience. We will go to another bar next time. We wanted to give 2 stars but really, the staff was so nice we couldn’t be that mean. ☺️
R Groot: Very quirky cocktail bar circus themed. On entrance we got to taster drinks and popcorn. Instantly felt welcome. The cocktails are very very cool there. They clearly made a lot of effort in creating them. Where they the best cocktails ever no. But they were definitely good. I would visit again. Good drinks and amazing presentation!!!
Cat Milton: It was nighttime, wintertime, and we were exploring the rather quaint alleys just off Barcelona’s famed Las Ramblas. There before us, tucked away on a corner was a vibrant, warm bar - with a popcorn maker in the window! “FX Cocktails and Magic” it proclaimed, with a lovely multi-lingual, not-in-the-least pushy host on the door. I took a photo and we strolled on. An hour later we strolled back and walked in. Immediately a fresh tub of perfectly salted hot popcorn and two chupitos, compliments of the house, arrived at our table. The ambience was wonderful - a stunning bar, beautifully attired and supremely skilled mixologists kept us thoroughly entertained, after we had perused their just as eclectic cocktail menu. My partner ordered a Manhattan - the first of two, and each made to perfection - and I ordered a Cold ‘Hot Toddie’ A handsome multi-lingual Magician arrived at our table and kept us entertained with some truly fabulous sleight-of-hand card tricks. Next up I ordered an Old Fashioned - perfect! Our own orders where distinctly vanilla compared to what we were watching being made at the bar - some extraordinary creations were being served, and should I ever want to impress anyone in future, I’ll be whisking them straight to Somnia in a heartbeat. Ambience, service, cost - all made it an exceptionally entertaining and worthwhile couple of hours.

Daniel Zarzar: Very recommended! Good vibes, amazing stuff! The cocktails are definitely something special. You won’t have a minute bored there! It was full of people and we didn’t felt that.
Bendik K: Nice atmosphere and a cool concept. The cocktails were unfortunately 6/10 mediocre, but looked great. They serve free popcorn which was salty and good. A magician came to our table and did some card tricks after we got our drinks. Fun, instagrammable, but not mindblowing.

The staff was very friendly, the Padovano bartender was very willing to play Alice in Chains when I suggested it (it was the first band that came to my mind when I read: Grunge is Dead)

Steven Heckmann: If you are from a city like Philadelphia and love dive bars, this will be your home away from home in Barcelona. A touch a familiarity in a new world. The prices are great, the ambience is grungy/rock n roll/skateboarding, the atmosphere is upbeat. I had the pleasure having Carlos as one of my bartenders during multiple visits. Awesome dude. Happy hour deals were fantastic and even after happy hour I could get a bottle of Heineken and a shot of Jameson for 5€ (2.50€ each).

Alexandra Vincent: Ok bar for a beer and to watch a football game when in the center. High prices for simple cocktails. I had to ask for a caipirinha made in the correct way, because the described drink in the menu was far from being a traditional caipirinha. Clearly a tourist trap, but could be worse and the staff (especially the lady at the bar) is lovely.

Violet Schultz: The environment is beautiful. Cool trees and lanterns in it. 10/10 on the building, but the food is just sad. Ordered a small empanada for €3 that wasn’t very good. Bikini sandwich with egg was good but i could’ve made it myself. 3/10 on the food here. Low prices but also low food quality and quantity.
Laura Serafina Anna: A very iconic location in Barcelona! When you enter - you enter a different world! This place is truly unique with trees, plants, a small river and furniture that makes you think you are in a fairy tale indeed. The quality of the food and drinks is average (hence, only my 4 stars review), but the place itself is super fun and one of a kind!
Evgeni Bunin: Very atmospheric place to be visited at night while your stay in Barcelona. Just be prepared to wait a lot until the waiter will notice you and until your get your order. However, the prices are surprising low as well as the quality of the menu: just tasty simple snacks and basic drinks. (P.S. We have not tried their cocktails and hamburgers. They looked tasty!)
Brenda Trosset: Tourist trap! This place is only popular for its cute decor. Poor service and less than average food. I saw several servers standing around doing nothing while there were dirty tables and several tables waiting to order. I had to get a server to come and take our order after waiting for 20 minutes. I specifically asked if we could sit anywhere and they said yes, so they definitely knew we were there. We were starving and when our food came we were so disappointed. It was cheap bar food. Avoid this place.
Marie-Sophie Dromer: No idea why this place has such a high rating. Yes, the main room is pretty, but when we walked in, no one came to see us, we had to seek out a table and gather chairs over this super low table. Then there’s the food. We didn’t get any because we could visibly tell it looked mediocre at best. No one came to see us at our table even thought it was open and smack during eating time, the lighting was too dim and the vibes just off so we left. Would not recommend. It felt like an over hyped, over priced tourist trap.

Win Monroe: Surprisingly uncrowded given how great of a bar this is. It has been redesigned a bit from last year. Still maintains some of the old funky vibe, but gone are the hostile signs saying “tourists go home” etc. and the new bartenders can make some killer cocktails. Will be coming back more frequently now.

morteza kasravi: Been there for a tango music performance. You can not believe in such a small place how can a group perform. But this actually helps to eliminate the barrier between the artist and the audience. great experience, totally recommended.

Torstein Leirfall Petersen: Supertiny live music bar with various Pastis as specuality. Suprisingly good musicians plays late night concerts. The damp atmosphere hits you like a wall when you enter, but if you give it a chance and stay for a beer you just might end up staying ther all night like we did.

Cate Mertins: Two words: bottomless brunch. €20 for a mixed cocktail (they were delicious), a breakfast item, and bottomless mimosas/Bellinis/San Miguel’s for 90 minutes. Excellent decision to come here on the weekend and take advantage of the deal.

Jens Light: Good food, good beer, and excellent viewing of football - our main reason for going. Very friendly staff too. English speaking is a bonus. PS we went on a Friday night and it was fine. Live DJ, great vibe. Football still featured prominently.

eliya crossman: Went for some drinks here twice while in Barcelona. It’s a great place to meet young other traveler’s and had friendly staff. Drinks were well priced and the service was fast. However, On the Friday night it got ‘busy’ and the security started acting like it was an ‘exclusive club’ when really there wasn’t much of an atmosphere inside. They were quite rude. Other then that, it’s a good place to meet people.

Bramley Johnson: First definitely NOT the place to watch NFL. Cheaper American-style chain. You’re in Barcelona for gods sake! Go somewhere awesome! Staff fluctuates from alright to extremely EXTREMELY rude. They do play red zone (like every single other place) but they will only put on four other games. 100% random. Called up, asked if they were showing a game. Said yes, got there and the tall bartender basically f-off. Food is alright Americanized stuff. The interior feels like a high school kid designed it. All in all this is a chain that’s worth passing on. There are SO many better bars in Barcelona. Do yourself a favor and skip this one. ESPECIALLY if you’re a real NFL fan. Gave them an extra star because, ya know, they need it.
Fateem Ahmed: Been living in Barcelona for the past 3 years, decided to give Belushi’s a try for their football screening nights. What a disappointing experience throughout! - The big room where was the match was screened was boiling hot. No ventilation/AC. - The men’s toilet was disgusting at first. Only one individual toilet was available for a bar that probably accommodates 150-200 people. However, they cleaned up later. - Even though I paid €40 in advance for a reservation of 8 people, I was not allowed to get my friend (the 8th person) inside just because Belushi’s let other people in upto the maximum legal capacity regardless of the paid reservations. - They have 2 smoking areas within the bar, both were closed for some reason. - Last but not the least, the appetizers weren’t good at all either. We had the nachos, some mixed platter and fries. - The only saving grace was some of their staff, who were nice and helpful. Team Belushi’s, if you want to label yourself as a sports bar, I certainly think you can still up your “game”.
Christoph Zimmermann: 1 star for customer service. Catalan customer service is literally the worst I have ever experienced anywhere. Staff is incredibly unfriendly to the extent that it even hurts to reward them with business… not accommodating with customers’ wishes or even needs in the least… Just imagine reserving for six people and staff telling the seventh person that shows up to either just go home or stay outside the door alone
Response: Thanks for taking the time to leave us your opinion Christoph, it's unfortunate to read that among the 12 languages spoken by our team (catalan included and spoken fluently by at least 6 of our 17 bartenders) you were served by one of those that don't speak this lovely language. We notice for your review that your english is quite fluent, or at least fluent enough to place an order, however we totally understand if you feel more comfortable expressing your needs in another language and of course invite you in the future to ask for a member of staff that speaks the language you're after. Chances are there will be someone on site ready to help! As for your mention about the bookings: we understand how frustrated you must feel yet we invite you to consider that it is quite standard to provide seating for the amount of people YOU asked us to book, so if you book (not only with us, but pretty much with anyone that takes bookings) a table for 6 there is a very good chance you're gonna get.....a table for 6. We usually try to accommodate those that forgot about one of their friends, but being the best sports bar in Barcelona and being full for every single world cup match, it's not surprising that we couldn't. Best of lucks with your future bookings in other places :)

Julia Hall: Very nice bar, good vibes, not trashy, safe. The drinks are very tasty and reasonable price. The bartender / owner of the bar was very kind, open, and catered my mojito to my preferences. I love the architecture of the space, it feels like an underground cavern. Will definitely go back if I come back to Barcelona:)

Gizem Senel: I went there two times for English comedy shows on different days. The shows took place in the basement. I did not stay after the show on Sunday, but on Friday, the environment transformed with music, comedy crowd disappeared, and new people came to dance. If you are planning to go for the comedy shows on different days, you can expect some comedians to repeat the same jokes. The bartenders are friendly. I only consumed Spanish beers that cost 3 euros per bottle. It is an acceptable price if there are events and music. It is a nice place for people who are passing by Barcelona or for the English speaking community in general.

Andrés Zamudio: Great place. 3 in the list of 50 Best Bars and I think they really live up to the hype. Friendly staff, they make you feel welcome since you enter, give an explanation of every drink and are always available for any question. Cocktails are outstanding, each one being served in a really particular way. Definitely recommended. It’s usually full so you need to arrive early or be prepared to queue (totally worth it).
Nirupa P: There is a reason why this ‘speak easy’ is part of the world best 50 bars. It’s definitely not a speak easy anymore because of the long lines but the wait is definitely worth it. Everything on the menu was curated to perfection. I tried all the drinks on the menu. My favorite was the Coral and Great Gatsby. Apollo 13 was too sweat but great concept. The food is limited- but make sure to try the potatoes with olive and pepper. Great combination. Overall amazing experience.
Gautham Sridhar: Oh my goodness, what a place. This is like a science lab inside. The way they make their drinks are an art to watch. The queue is pretty long to get in - it took us nearly two hours. But the wait was worth it. This was rated as the best bar in the world. I understand why - they are absolutely amazing. This is a must try. Limited menu, but the staff help you with choose. This tiny little place with absolutely friendly staff gave us an unforgettable experience. I would recommend this place to everyone who visit Barcelona.
Isha Kumar: I see why this was rated best bar in the world. The drinks were super super cool! Our group ordered several different drinks and the staff was very helpful in explaining the drink, back story, and experience to us for each one. The menu is very fun to read and lists the strength levels of each drink so you know what you’re getting yourself into. (They also have quite a few non alcoholic options!) The big con for me was the wait time. A bar that’s rated so high is going to have a long wait time but two hours was way too much for me. I did hear they’ve implemented a virtual line so you don’t have to physically stand around waiting now. If so, that’s awesome and it’s definitely worth going to!
Michael vd Berg: If you’re looking for a nice place to drink cocktails and not be overthrown by hundreds of tourists, then definitely go here! The bar is behind the safe door, making the entrance quite an experience already. This place has been rewarded for having the best cocktails. This is totally understandable once you see how they serve your cocktails. Definitely recommend it!
poyi liu: Must visit if you are in Barcelona. This is probably one of the best bars I’ve been to. It had a cozy ambiance and on top of that y he drinks were very good and it was great sitting in front of the bar and seeing the bartenders prepare the drinks it was a really nice experience. Prices are definitely affordable for what you get to taste. Very cosy inside, I recommend to sit at the bar, very fun to watch them making cocktails and have a chit chat!
