Benjamin Booth: A good place to try traditional churros and chocolate. My visit was good even though the churros could have been a little bit fresher as they felt like they had been sitting for a while and were no longer warm. The chocolate may not be to everyone’s taste due to how bitter it is but the horchata was amazing. The cafe is reasonably priced too to considering how popular it seems.
Julia Szczęsna: Best churros I have ever tried. We loved the churros so much that we repeated the order. I recommend eating them with one of the speciality milky beverages and dark chocolate. Very friendly, smiley and kind staff. I’ll definitely come back to this place next time I’m in Barcelona
Ava Tamizifar: Went here based on a local’s recommendation. We tried the churros con chocolate suizo (dark chocolate with whipped cream). Not my favourite place to have churros in Barcelona. The churros were pretty cold and not as fresh as I would like. The whipped cream also made the chocolate cold so not the best combo. The granja itself looks very nice and cozy with welcoming staff. Ps. If you are going as multiple people only one cup of chocolate is enough for multiple plates of churros.
Emily Murtha: Recommend to us by local people for churros and chocolate, although nice it wasn’t especially great. From what I can see the difference between the Spanish chocolate and Swiss chocolate is simply a large (too much) helping of cream on top of the chocolate. Was very popular with people queuing outside. Would recommend but have had far better chocolate in Barcelona.
nibblesandtravels: Went here in April 2022 for a dessert after lunch and they had pretty good churros. The chocolate dipping sauce for me was just right - not too sweet, not too bitter - just how I enjoy chocolates.
Elif Özkan: There were two long lines in front of it for both taking away and dining in, maybe just because it is one of the famous churrerías of Barcelona. They serve traditional churros with hot chocolate. It was not too sweet for the sweet lovers to be honest (maybe much more healthy, in this case). But it worths to taste in an original way. Note: They were so careful to take people inside due to covid. 👌🏻

Raj Sheth: A GREAT churro spot! Their hours are certainly interesting, so check them out, but PLAN to come here. It is right outside of the Gothic Quarter and has great location. Mun Yin Chong: Had a very pleasant experience here. Prices were affordable but the food was great. Service is extremely good even though it’s just a humble little shop. My mum accidentally spilt the coffee but the waitress was very kind and prompt at cleaning up the mess. Furthermore, they compensated another cup of coffee FOC even though they didn’t have to do that. Highly recommended! Foreigner friendly place as well. ☺️

Jens Lambert: Had this place earmarked in our guide. When we stopped by earlier this week it was closed and were absolutely delighted when we saw it open today. Absolutely decadent and delicious. Was very reasonable as well, 10 euros for two cups of drinkable chocolate and two plates of dipping cookies. Cannot recommend enough, a great place to take a few minutes out of your day to enjoy.
Daniyal Akhtar: Amazing churros & chocolate and Catalan cream! Highly recommended. This place is super busy, and for good reason. Its amazing! The price is reasonable, the staff are super friendly and atmosphere is great. We recommend trying the Churros with Dark chocolate. The dark chocolate is not so sweet so if you are after something sweeter, pick the sweeter French milk chocolate.The Catalan Cream was also great, light and and the right balance of sweetness.

CM S: A cool chocolateria in a nice ambience. Unfortunately, it is very noisy. Both the churros and the melindros are very tasty. I found the latter better. You order a hot chocolate to go with the churros or the melindros.
Luce Serra: Really nice place to taste the "suizo" (with whipped cream) or the "francés" (no cream) together with "melindros" (sponge ladyfingers biscuits) and "xurros" (fried dough springled with sugar and cinnamon). Although both drinks are made from melted chocolat they are not too sugary and balance well with the melindros and xurros. Really original place, totally worth the visit! The waiters are nice and available to explain the products.

Poonie Tiengtrong: I ordered a cup of hot chocolate with traditional churros with cinnamon. It cost only 4€ altogether. This is a must try and buy for your dessert. The hot chocolate was thick and awesome. The churros were crispy and they went together very well. The staff speak English very well.

The fresh fried-ness of the originals were the best, especially when dusted with the sugar. But of course, the shining star is the melted chocolate. Get the originals with the dipping chocolate and don’t mess with the stuffed or chocolate dipped. OGs way better

Steph Eats n Travels: My favorite churro spot in Barcelona. Churro and hot chocolate are €4. I was lucky to get a very fresh batch of churros straight out of the fryer. These churros are CRISPY. Unfortunately this place is takeaway only; I had to sit in front of the cathedral for a comfortable place to sit.

Christine: Typical, authentic churros place. For currently 2 Euros you get a good portion of churros and for another 2 Euros they give you a cup of creamy and dense hot chocolate to dip in as well. Don‘t forget to get the churros sugared if you don‘t want to add chocolate. The churros are crispy and very fresh. Xurros is the Catalan way of writing Churros by the way.

B. Gallego: One of my favourite churros in Barcelona! Couldn’t stop coming back for more and they sell them by weight in grams. Loved the classic and also the chocolate ones. I bought a bunch and packed them up in containers to bring home and they survived the flight! Especially the chocolate coated ones. Definitely worth a visit when you’re there!

Dhoha Rashed Alshalawi: I never saw stuffed churro with many flavors. I tried the one stuffed with “ dulce de leche” like Carmel, and I love it. The place has story showing in the pictures on the walls of the current owner family. Cozy and lovely place close to La Sagrada Familia.

It was the first time we saw churros with fillings so we tried the offer of 4 for 15€ (we went for Passion fruit, Apple & coconut, chocolate cream & Almond, Kinder). Matteo Wildauer: I was on a 5 day trip to barcelona and the first morning we went to this chocolateria. We were so in love with ghe churros dipped in melted chocolate that we went there everyday of our trip 🤓 Our standard order was 12 churros and 2 cups of melted chocolate (one with whipped cream on top). We were two people. Everyday it was a delight having our breakfast here! I strongly recommend you visit this amazing place!

Aron Steg: We walked a long way to try this churros and it didn’t disappoint. We had churros stuffed with dolce de leche and also a standard 6x churros with hot chocolate. Both delicious and well worth the walk and the queue. The churros frankfurt was a weird choice. I wonder who buys them.

Deea Andreea: The ice cream is very tasty and the portions are huge. The waffles are very good and they have a wide variety of cakes that you can take home. The waitresses are very friendly and speak English. For us it is the best place to eat something sweet in this area and relax on the terrace.

Hsin Yi Wei: The decor of La Nena cafe is really cute with cozy vibe and it’s a perfect place for afternoon tea. We tried their Churros with chocolate, it was our first churros at Spain, and the experience wasn’t good. The churros were dry and oily, it was bad to eat alone but at least decent with the chocolate dipping.

shush sn: Found this place on google maps after we could not find a good place for dessert in the hot weather in Barcelona. It was 5 minute walk from the hotel and I must say one of the best desserts we had. Top customer service and quality icecream

Alberto Antonio, O.P.: A favorite breakfast place. Typical of Barcelona breakfast shops: churros, coffee, pastries, sandwiches, freshly squeezed orange juice...everything you want.

Nikhil Shah: Cool cafe for breakfast and if you want Spanish style churros. These are quite different to what I’m used to in the US but love that it doesn’t have sugar or cinnamon added on top. The chocolate sauce isn’t too sweet - but remember that it’s extra.

Nam Makawan Færch Christensen: Impressive cafe! We pay only 5 euro for churros, cocoa dip and cappuccino. Churros is crispy and delicious. Totally satisfied. Staffs speak also English and yes they are very friendly!

Scandinavian roads: The hot chocolat is fantastic! Must try! It is overall a nice, clean, albeit small place. The have a variety of pastries and also tasty ice cream and smoothies. Service is not fast but ok. But it is the tastes and tidyness of the place that it is so worth it.
Jade Joyce Ng: Service was very poor and portion of ice cream was small. Been to other branches of Chocolate-Box and had amazing experience, particularly amazed by their generous portion of gelato. However, to my disappointment, my experience at this branch was extremely poor. We waited several minutes for the waitress to come and serve us when there was no one in the shop. She sounded very grumpy when we requested to try a flavour or two for the gelato. And the size of the gelato was half of what we had in other branches. Will never return and do not suggest anyone to come :(
Chun Yin Law: The size of the gelato is only half of those I got from other branches. The waiter was rushing us for no reason while we are the only customer in the shop. The waiter did not allow us to try on different flavours of the gelato while the other branches of Chocolat-Box allow us to do so. Disappointed! Please go to other branches for better experience, such as the one near the Cathedralof Barcelona, they have excellent service and amazing portion of food!
Josh Cliffe-Jones: Absolutely fantastic little venue for an ice cream and cold coffee just up the street from La Sagrada Familia! The drinks and ice cream are amazing and their food and chocolates look awesome too! They are SUPER lovely staff with kind hearts who refused to let me pay for a replacement drink that I spilt. If you are in the area, please do stop by and give them some love!

Bianca Santa Barbara: Got their chocolate and churros. They were delicious and not too sweet, though they do provide packets of sugar for you to add as you wish. The chocolate was warm and perfectly thick and rich for dipping. The churros were freshly made and had a decent serving size (4 churros) for a small snack. They give you a tiny plastic spoon on the side so that you can eat the chocolate after you finish all your churros. Overall, service was great and friendly 👌
Bautista Powerslam: Nice cafe with lots of seating, staff are great, really helpful and welcoming. The churros and chocolate were really nice and fresh. I also ordered the carrot cake which was served in a nice takeaway box. Unfortunately the carrot cake was not great. Enjoyed the churros and chocolate.

Jacob Nygard: The ice cream here is delicious 😋 And the staff is friendly and speaks great English, the prices are fair compared to the quality of the ice cream and the options you have when choosing the flavors. They have things like Oreo, Snickers and even vegan sorbet with lemon, strawberry or raspberry. This is a really nice place for dessert after dinner.
Antonieta Ponce de Leão: I only tasted one flavor to go, I was a bit sad I could only take one flavor on the small cup, there are many places that offer different flavors on the same small cup, for the same price. Regardless the one that I choose was very nice and very well served. They have a big variety of flavors and some different from the usual. I will probably come again to taste more ☺️

Hana Ngô: One of the best ice cream I have had in my 3 months here (I ate lots of ice cream). The price is actually lower than the other ice cream places I have been to. I am not sure because I’m not a local here btw. Lotus bitcus and Strawberry (with mashmellow) are MUST TRY. I have 7 days left in Barcelona and I plan to come here again one or more time. Gonna miss this place when I come back home. P/S: as you can see I’ve been here with my trio SO MANY TIMES. They always let us try different flavor before we decide with one to have and I love that!!
simret singh: Very delicious churros, warm and crispy. The chocolate that came with it was just right and not too sweet. The service was impressive and the staff were nice and very pleasant despite being extremely busy. Reasonably priced.
Ismail Talha Kenel: I was trying to find a place to try churros late at night before I actually stumbled upon this place near the Picasso Museum. At the first second I realized there was a long line which meant to me that this place was very much liked by the people, so i waited. I got myself 2 scoops (one hazelnut and one stracciatella) ice cream with waffle cone and churros with chocolate which tasted amazing. The churros were super fluffy in the inside and crispy on the outside, perfect for a chocolate dip, I kindly recommend
MaXim Pro: Really nice Location and friendly Owners. Mariano y Clara. He allowed me to charge my Phone there and was really nice. And they have some really Yummy Sweets and Ice, that I can really recommend :) :) Happy Times there and its right beside some nice attractions as well. Have a good one :)
Morten Andreas Horn: Very nice little restaurant with delicious chocolate. A favourite of my 14-year old, and her daddy too... We came all the way from Oslo, Norway for the xurros, and were not disappointed.
