Yaroslav Kerget: Nice store, previously was just a North Face mono store, now has more brands like Patagonia, Napapijri, haglofs, la sportiva, eastpack, Columbia. But not so many sizes you can find and stuff do not speak good English :(Not so many styles of The North Face.

T Francis: Service non existent...was looked at like I was a criminal the whole time...they had no plain white north face t shirts...basically a total disaster don't go here for north FacE stuff go to el corte engles or online you'll find much better stock and prices. All I wanted was the t with the simple logo on the shoulder and they had none. I asked for some help but the 2 guys were busy rearranging the merchandise. Really annoyed seeing as I came all across the city to go here...won't be making that mistake EVER again.
J M: Rude staff. Asked for a duffel bag and he took it out of the plastic. Decided to get a different color and salesperson rudely asked if thats the real color we want. Maybe because he didn't wanna travel all the way back to the storage room to get another bag. Seems like he does not like his job at all.

Joppe Overwater: Be careful buying here. Store doesn't give me money back for the shoes I bought yesterday. I brought them back because I tried them on again at home and noticed they were not as good a fit as I thought/felt they were when I tried them on in the store. The sales person just said they are supposed to hurt and they will 'give', then I learned that they only 'give' width, not length, which was my particular issue. They can't offer me another option that I would buy, despite those shoes being available widely in other stores. Basically the salesperson argued that I should adapt what I want to what he had in stock. Not very customer focussed... The manager Isaac Perez was unhelpful and conflictive. He entered the conversation between me and said salesperson by shouting at me that it was store policy, which was exactly what the salesperson was saying to me, and refused to solve the issue even though he claimed that he could solve it for me if he wanted to. Weird thing to say to a customer, adding insult to injury. He also pointed at an A4 detailing the particular policy on the counter, which was not really in plain sight and was printed in letters so small that I could not even read them without my glasses on while standing at the counter. He also mentioned that the same policy was mentioned on the ticket, which you get once you have made a purchase. Disgusting behaviour from the business and the 'manager'. If he had indeed solved it, I would have gladly spent the money again in the store when and on what I wanted. So now I'm stuck with a voucher that locks me into buying something at their prices and choosing from the fairly límited shock they offer, but moreover that forces me to give them the business that they don't deserve imo. Great disservice and poor first buying experience. What's the use of a store with such a poor return policy? Other stores such as Barrabes have better stock and don't have this ridiculous return policy. I ended up buying there even though I had to spend money on top of the money that is now locked into a Vertic voucher, and recommend Barrabes 100% over Vertic.
Miguel ES: Wide variety of products and brands. Staff is knowledgeable and attentive, they let you browse around on your own and assist attentively with technical info on products if you require their support or assistance. The prices are however quite high. You can find better bargains in other shops in Barcelona or online.
Merili de Ramirez: One of my favourite outdoor stores in Barcelona! Excellent choice of clothing, climbing gear and equipment.
Alex Kov: Think twice before buying here! They won't give you your money back even if the shoes or clothes don't fit. You'll only find out about this when you come to return the goods only. They will not inform you that about and the return terms on the receipt, is completely illegible. The joke is that you can read the receipt only after you paid and cannot change your mind.
Guillem Via: I made a mistake, followed counseling on taking small climbing shoes. I was told they would enlarge with use, but five minutes were enough to decide that was too much pain. The shop team member who counseled me made several mistakes: he did not think some of us may not want to go through that pain for sport, he did not inform me I could get no refund, not even partial, for not bringing them back in their original box or using them, even for five minutes. The box rule is not even written among the refund conditions. I made a mistake, the team made several, I pay for all the consequences, lost 110€. But actually they do pay for the consequences: lost one client and got bad advertising, how would you feel in that situation?
Response: Good morning It is a strange situation, no? Would you buy a pair of climbing shoes used and pay as new ones?. Would you get them without the original box? I guess not and we obiously not . We only try to advice our customer but the purchase decision is always yours. I am very sorry because what it happens to you, but i am sure we take the right decision.

Jorge Castro: I decided to rent a wetsuit that the store advised me to see how it would go before buying it. It was full of snags and although they marked a few random ones they blamed me for one (which I'm sure I didn't do) they deducted it from the deposit. Part of the fault is mine for not reviewing it conscientiously, seeing the state I did not worry. It's my personal experience, but I'm sure I won't be back.

Samuel Izquierdo: We were recommended by a friend and with the intention of buying a wetsuit, I had two options, this site or another so with many options to buy it here. The experience has been VERY bad, the girl who has served us has made us feel bad with her way of serving us. I do not know if it was a question of language, the Castilian did not come out and there has been a moment that has said "I speak Catalan", or does not know the product, or does not know how to present it, or has it nervous ... but we have not known or explain the most basic, we have left with anger of the bad experience, a pity that such a store has a person like her attending in this way, they have lost a customer.

Carlota Suñe: I went shopping at Tri For Fun for an emergency: I had a Sunday triathlon and I had run out of glasses being Friday. I bought some at the store and when I got home I realized that they were broken. The next morning I flew to the store to exchange them for new ones or refund my money, assuming that a store has to take care of the material it sells and ensure quality for its customers. Neither one nor the other. I had to do not one, but TWO TRIATHLONS with broken glasses waiting for them to get new ones from the factory for more than three weeks and refusing to refund my money so I could buy new ones in any other store.
Response: Good afternoon Charlotte. The amount of half-truths or lies in so few lines is tremendous. First, those glasses passed through the hands of 4 people, seeing them and trying them on, we did not realize that they had any defects. Second. The glasses are not "broken", they have a blow to the frame at the top that does not disable them for use. Third, you were able to use them in the competitions while the new ones did not arrive. Fourth, for your knowledge, it has not been considered later in warranty, being the initiative of the store to give you others free of charge. You are not objective at all. I hope you have a good afternoon.
Hartmann Estruch: I usually go to buy my shoes at Tri for Fun. They know the sector and its products, they have gender diversity, good treatment and you can try them on a treadmill that they have in the store (for my basic). Both for those who are just starting out, those who have doubts about what to buy or who are clear about what they want, it is a good decision.

Andrew Juarez: I'm willing to change the review of this rating as they have a nice selection of outdoor clothing and they seem nice enough. I came in for a coat that they assured me it was at another store and that they would call me back in 24 hours. This happened 3 or 4 times and at the end I told them look, don't shine me on, if you're going to reneg all good, just own up to it and they reassured they'd call me back. They never did. If you ever find that jacket, i still want it. Make it right and I'll change or delete this review.

Jozi Girl: Large selection of sports wear over 2 floors. I battled to find the fitting rooms and there was no floor staff to assist.
Ramon Gomez: It's a cool store, lots of sporting supplies and good prices, usually there are several options to fit every budget. It's located in a tourist dense part of town so the store is often packed. While the facility is fair sized, it really isn't big enough for the vast amounts of people that go there and the multi level setup doesn't help either. But it is in the old town so I guess there it must be a challenge to find ample floor space. It is well staffed and they are very helpful. A good choice if you can't make it to the one in Diagonal Mar or the huge one in Badalona that in my opinion is the best.
Silvia Andrea Torres: You find what you need easily, but to find an employee to help you is not allways an easy feat. If you are in a rush you'd better know where what you are searching is.
Chris Parker: Although there is plenty of stock to choose from and it is all laid out pretty well .. I was a little disappointed with the customer service , my partner was looking for a pair of training shoes but there were no socks on hand to aide her in this and our requests fell on deaf ears .. We ended up having to buy trainer socks as well !! ..

Emmanuel: Oh my god. I was looking for a place to buy some climbing shoes, and I ended up 2 hours at this shop. They have everything and so much variety - the staff is kind, helpful and knowledgeable, 5/5* for sure.
S: I bought a canyoneering pack from them online and they shipped me the wrong pack. They asked me to send them pictures of my order and pack to prove it was wrong. When I did they said they don't make or sell the pack I ordered. I asked them to explain why they list it for sale on their website and they never responded back. Barrabes customer service is the worst and I'll never buy anything from them again. Beware.
Joppe Overwater: Great! I was here 2x looking for climbing shoes and bought a pair today. The staff were nice and seemed to 'care' on both accounts despite the fact that they had to manage 2-3 customers and or phone calls at a time which puts them under some pressure I suppose. They seemed knowledgable about the sport and the product. Store has a correct return policy, you can get your actual money back if your return the goods unused within x days. On top of that, they had the best price I could find online and in-store (same price, something else I appreciate) for the item I was out for (although this will for sure not always be the case, and it did not make the difference. I would have paid a difference because of the better return policy and competent, non-salesy staff that talk from own experience and don't try to sell you something you don't need.) In fact, on the first occasion, I was told that I could probably be happy with something less expensive than what I mentioned my budget was (even though they had plenty of options on and over that number). Very good!
Simon Whyatt: Great selection of mountain sports gear
Miguel ES: Big shop, lots of space and wide variety of products and brands for the outdoors. A bit pricey, though, when compared to similar shops and online platforms. Space has been rearranged due to covid-19 measures in place to have less commercial clutter and more free space between various stands and aisles. Its normally not crowded, either that or I've been lucky to always go there when its quiet. Definitely not as crowded as Decathlon (the big european brand for outdoors retail). This is a shop for people who are really into the outdoors and look for the best brands and don't mind paying a bit or a lot more for the best performing gear. Cant provide much feedback regarding staffs' expertise regarding the products available, have only bought one pair of Salomon boots here and they were on sale and I knew what I wanted, so didn't need much advise from staff. All in all, its a nice shop, and staff leaves you on your own to peruse around without the pressure to try something on to buy it.
Gustavo Mazzei: Good selection but the staff is useless. If you come here for expert advise, you're in the wrong place. The sales have no idea what they're selling and any question you ask is like you're bothering them.
Max Muller: Beautiful store! A must visit for hikers and mountain lovers! quite pricey and staff doesn’t invite you to try on their products. Me and my wife were trying on a couple of Arc’teryx hard shells and the sales person was watching from a distance if we weren’t doing anything funny with their jackets. overall a very worthy visit when you’re in Barcelona.

Arianna Ratti: Terrible! I went to buy a sport bag. The tag indicated 14,99 euros but going to pay showed 24,99 euros. I asked the saleswoman for and explanation and she told me it was a mistake and the price is 24,99. She didn't apologize and I had to pay 24.99. Terrible service and organization.

Razvan Cojocaru: Mid sized shop, covers most frequent sport categories/equipment. Low & mid range product, dont expect all the high-end accessories (it's a medium shop after all). The ratio of shop assistant / sqm is higher than in other Decathlons, so easier to get someone to ask info. Particular thanks to Nicholas, who helped me retreive my ordered products, despite an error with the reservation system.

Anat Charvet: I waited for 15 min in the queue cause I wanted to pay cash. And I was next in line! Nobody was thinking to open another till even though the queue was getting bigger and bigger. Especially as it is a small decathlon but plenty of workers. And then they were very rude to me like it was my fault I waited for 15 min!! I was so angry I didn't even waited to take the receipt. There's plenty of other Decathlons in Barcelona. Don't go to this one!!!!

Description: I went to buy a pair of football boots as a gift today. I found the boots that I was interested in and I went to the casher to ask her to provide me with a pair of 43. She brought the pair and put them in a plastic bag and smashed the bag on the counter while having conversation with her colleague. She: you gonna pay cash? Me: No, card please. She: aha card! Magnus Smogeli: The staff obviously suspected us being thieves and followed us around everywhere. And I mean everywhere! Mens section, fitting room, Beach section.. You get the idea. My girlfriend and I are from Norway and we both felt very uncomfortable in the situation. We spent 30 min or so, and not 1 single moment alone, the staff (a lady) just casually walking around doing other stuff while keeping an eye on us, and at the same time not being overly friendly either! I'll give the store 1 star for staff and service, the big selection of clothes makes the total grade: 2.

Sarah Baxter: Better to buy online and have it delivered or pick up in the store. There's always way too many customers and far too few employees. The checkout queue is an utter disaster. They only offer self-checkout, which is challenging for elderly people and moves very slowly.
Caleb: I went to buy protein powder today at Decathlon La Maquinista and one of the attendants was very polite, respectful and gave me advice on how to take it. Another took her time to assist me when I couldn't find the supplement isle. A1 customer service and definitely recommend Decathlon La Maquinista. 👍👍👍👍

Vinoth Babu: There is no queue at the entrance, since government had relaxed covid rule, the entire shopping space was kept opened. Could see all the varieties of sports items were available with enough stock. Could also see stock of bicycles, since last year during covid pandemic there were stock outs for cycles and the problem is resolved by decathlon. Enough service staff were available to guide the purchase with the explanations about the product. Asusual they were kind enough. They have installed more than 12 self payment kiosk which was easier to pay for the items purchased. Could see some crowd inside the shop. Overall a good experience.could see some people were shopping tents, which made me to set up my mind for a camping trip outside Barcelona. Soon may visit decathlon again for purchasing it..
Dixie Ballesteros: Love the brand, but this particular one is a bit messy and it's hard to find what you looking for (specific items or sizes). You can always find help put they are uninterested or have very little product knowledge, low stock availability on popular items is also a problem .

Katerina Petrova: I am still in shock. I bought a Fitbit online, it arrived the next day, which was great. But when I opened the package, the box was old and clearly opened before. The watch did not work and does not charge and it does not switch on at all!!!!! I then tried calling them to tell them I have been delivered a faulty product, but they are referring me back to Zelerius (the delivery company), and via the phone it is impossible to reach zelerius or speak to an advisor. Avoid at any cost!
Anissa Rockefeller: Worst customer service ever! It was so bad I wasn’t even able to purchase anything. The store was not busy and there was plenty of staff working. I tried three times to try to get help with shoes. One worker told me to wait then went back to stocking. I had to get her attention again. After twenty minutes, someone finally came over to quickly tell me it was the only size they have and walked off. I then tried to buy a ball. There was one person at the register doing something that was obviously taking a long time with a customer while the other staff just stood around. After awhile, I gave up and went to the Nike store where I got everything I needed in less than 15 minutes. Needless to say, I’m never going back there again.
