Andreanne Breton-Carbonneau: Although our dog has a good experience with the caretakers at Dog Care Barcelona, I had to lower my review after our last booking from the communication issues we've been having. Even though we had booked ahead of time, we were told that we weren't expected for that day and waited 30 minutes outside for drop-off. At pick up, we could not contact the caretaker and waited another 30 minutes to pick up our dog (meanwhile, being anxious that we didn't know where our dog was). The director of the business has an excellent ethos for managing the center, but we have struggled to feel at peace and carefree about the service. Perhaps it is just the particular caretaker we had been assigned, but unfortunately, we will not be booking with them again.

Patata Fritata: We had to leave our dog in a kennel for the first time and we were a bit nervous and worried, however, thanks to the excellent attention from María José we were very calm and our dog has enjoyed his stay at the kennel very much. They answered all our questions, they sent us photos and videos up to 3 times a day, they gave him the right medication, the walks were great and adapted to his needs and in general they took great care of him. We will repeat for sure whenever we need it!

Dolors Avilés: I have known Marie since she started and I can only thank her for her dedication and appreciate her professionalism. I have a dog named Zoe that we adopted when she was 1 year old and she has had a traumatic childhood, so it is very difficult to gain her trust as she has a panic towards people. Marie gained her trust in such a short time that I could not believe it, and thanks to her she has overcome part of her fears, since Marie adapts to Zoe's needs, without forcing her relationship at all, in this way she feels safe in the nursery, she has her space and participates to a greater or lesser extent as she pleases. Enjoy walks in the mountains, away from that civilization that has been treated so badly. I feel very calm and fortunate to be able to leave her at Dog Care whenever we cannot take care of her. Marie transmits so much love and passion for animals that it is perceived from the first moment you meet her and pets are the first to detect it, that is why they love her so much And we too ❤

Amy Alexander: We are so incredibly grateful to Pilar and her staff for getting our 3 fur babies from Sitges to Miami. We needed a direct flight on Iberia to make it less stressful so Pilar arranged a transport from Sitges to Madrid the day before the flight. The pups stayed at their pet hotel and her staff checked in the pups for the direct flight the following day. Pilar walked us through all the paperwork that we would need and made sure the pups had the appropriate sized crates for the flight. Pilar was a pleasure to work with and she always responded to my many emails and WhatsApp messages. Pilar and her staff were terrific in getting our fur babies to us in Miami even through all the hurdles during this pandemic as airlines are very strict these days . James Mallon: Please do not under any circumstance book through TravelDog. These reviews must be fake, the company didnt even tell us a time to pick up the dog and lied when they said the dog would be taken direct. They simply paid another company to take the dog so it wasn't even going to be them transporting the dog and just charged extra on top of what the other company charged. The other company they paid has terrible reviews of dogs not receiving water or being treated poorly or being lost. Please look after your pet and be careful and do not use this company. Thank goodness we checked the papers and found out who was really transporting the dogs. They do not respond properly at all also.
Anna Solanas Tarré: As per a general rule, I do suffer a lot when I have to travel with my pet. I want things well done and I want to be involved in the process so that I know what is going on and in which stage we are. I had to fly my dog from Barcelona to Dubai and this is when I came across TravelDog Spain. Could not express in words how much Pilar helped me. What seemed to be quite an "easy" flight got more complicated due to the changes in regulations for the Covid-19. Pilar did an amazing job, found solutions to my problems, she had so much patience (and nowadays patience seems hard to find), she answered every single one of my phone calls. And by "every single one of my phone calls" i do mean it. For at least two months we kept in contact, looking for solutions, finding the best way for me to travel and be confident that my dog would also be fine. I would recommend TravelDog with my eyes closed. And I know also now where to go in my future travels: I am definitely going back to Pilar. I know my dog is in good hands with her. I would not trust any other agency as strong as I trusted Pilar. And it was worth it. Thank you Pilar for all your help

Miranda Haefeli: Franklin is a 1.5 year old bulldog with a herniated disc, which is why we are very careful that he does not leap off or onto anything and doesn’t play with big dogs, as he tends to jump a lot. Naturally, leaving him to anyone’s’ care worried us, due to the fact that any wrong movement could cause him to not be able to walk again. Nevertheless, my job forced us to find a place that he would be safe and well taken care of and I came across Feligos. I am happy to have found Feligos Guarderia Canina in Barcelona for Franklin. Not only are they just a few stops on the metro, but they also do a pickup and drop off service. The day-care is located conveniently close to a beautifully big park in Vallcarca, which they at times will walk the dogs to. Feligos provides 2.5 hours for free at first in order for the dog to adjust to the new surroundings and for the staff to see how the dog interacts and plays, which allows everyone the time to decide if it is a good fit for both parties. Franklin came out with a big smile and the staff provided honest feedback about him and his stay. Everyone at Feligos is very kind, knowledgeable and you immediately know that they love what they do, which makes me trust their service even more. They are reliable, affordable and the scheduling is very easy and super flexible, you can even book on the day if you run into an emergency, provided they have space. Franklin cannot wait to hop on the metro and greet them for his next stay, usually he doesn’t even look back when I drop him off. I cannot recommend Feligos more to anyone who needs a trusted doggy daycare in Barcelona.

They allow flexibility of schedule, and will take care of your pup as if it were their own, while you tend to your busy schedule in the city. It is a home away from home for our pup. We travel a lot and it is important that we know are dogs are well cared for when we are away. Luis always arrives personally to collect and return our dogs, and most important they are ALWAYS happy to see him. Luis cares for our dogs as if they were his own and spends time getting to know them. Fontfreda provides a 1st Class facility and we have recommended them to all our friends with pets. Morgan Kita: My cat has stayed multiple times with Lluis for 1 to 2 weeks at a time, and his service has been great! Lluis has been very accommodating with deliveries to and from Barcelona, and recently since my cat has developed kidney problems, Lluis went above and beyond to ensure that he received his medicine. PPP breeds, because in the recreation parks, we made the fences of 1.40 so as not to break the natural environment, we are obliged to not be able to accommodate this type of breeds that would be a danger to other dogs, due to the ease to jump the fence of the parks to the neighboring parks. Well...they won't accommodate German shepherds, mastiffs, Siberian huskies, pointers or any large breed dog either because of the danger to other dogs. They are tagging a dog by its breed when they don't know it, showing that they are not professionals. A dog is dangerous because of the education and socialization that its owners have given it. This lack of socialization is caused by "professionals" how you avoid at all costs that the so-called PPP can play, run or sniff with other dogs. You are the problem, not the dogs.
