Tandoori Nights - Indian Restaurant: what do users think?

Jaswinder Taank: My favourite indian restaurant in Barcelona so far. Staff allowed me to order food 30 minutes before they even opened. Pretty good prices. I got the butter chicken with egg rice

Eliza Chris: Seriously one of the best meals we’ve had while in Barcelona. We loved the chicken pakora and spicy tikka masala. Truly fantastic and the service was great too!

Franklin Rodriguez: I sweared that the best Indian food I had was in Prague…I WAS WRONG! Whenever you stop by Barcelona take a Taxi, Cabify, Bus, Train, or walk but make it to Tandoori Nights. The flavors and freshness on every bite will make your soul rejoice. The first time I visited (yes, I had to make it back before my departure) the service was impecable. I ordered the Burna de Ternera (which I had again on my second visit) and the flavors were simply top notch. My travel partners had Tikka Masala and Curry Chicken. They were extremely satisfied with the food. The second time I ordered the same plate but with a higher degree of heat; it was outstanding. We had basmati rice as a side dish and added some nan bread and rote. Both were fresh as were the mango smoothie and the dessert made out of little dough balls (sorry, forgot the name). I promise that if you like Indian food, Tandoori Nights will satisfy your taste buds.

Chris: Good chicken tikka with a friendly service, places inside and out. Like the atmosphere 😀

Vinnakota Avinash: I have had a best Indian meal here in Barcelona. The staff are simply amazing and food reminded me of India, absolutely delicious. A must visit place if you are in Barcelona and up for a nice treat!!

Utkarsh Patil: My review here is purely based on the food. Because people working in the restaurant are super nice and friendly and their service is also very good. The food is not the best indian food I have had in Barcelona. In fact nearby to this restaurant there is a no frills canteen which serves near authentic indian food. I realised they add a lot of red colour here to everything, I am not a fan of adding colours to the food. Everything has a sugary sweet taste(I think so that Spanish people like it). Paneer was very soft and fresh but again not much taste to it and added Red colour. Same to tandoori chicken and to the gravy. Also to our bill extra rice was added by mistake which they removed when we told them. Though they have amazing gulab jamun. Do try if you go there.
Response: I thank you for your comment. your assessment is the improvement of our service. Thanks for coming until next time. A greeting!

Dan Kolakowski: The best Indian food I’ve ever had. The service was great and the food was just amazing. I would have come back multiple times during my trip to Barcelona if the rest of my group would have let me :)

Jesee: Super expérience, food was amazing, so tasty and so many choice. The service was impeccable, thanks to the waiter we had a great evening in family. I 100% recommend.

Kelly Zhang: We got korai chicken, channa masala, and chicken tikka masala. Food was so good I saw a different side to my friend, someone I’ve known for 4 years, lived together for 3. Cropped for privacy but this is what she looked like. No pics of food because it was gone. Servers were very nice.

Matthieu Stocker: Came here with a big group of 22. Ate outside. Servers were all very polite and efficient. Food was on point and really authentic. Portions were generous. Spyciness and tenderness of the meat was perfect. If you visit barca and have a spare evening... perfect place. I recommend the tandoori chicken and their garlic/butter naans. 10/10 must visit again.

Restaurante Koh-i-noor India: what do users think?

Bárbara Díaz: This place is the best Indian restaurant in Barcelona, and I’d say that it’s also the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever tried. Waiters are specially friendly and every time I go there, they receive me with a nice smile. Food are tasty and the amount is perfect. If you like spicy, chilly chicken is amazing!

Sidhartha Satapathy: Excellent Food !!! This is one of the rare hotel where they prepare very tasty Indian authentic food along with Home style preparation. In Barcelona this is a must try . The owner himself takes care of food quality. Staff is very humble and friendly .

Barca lona: A simple canteen style establishment, with friendly service and delicious food. The mixed starter was amazing value, light and brimming with authentic Indian flavours. The mains we didn't manage to finish ( four lads after a day of sports) as the portions were generous (and we may have over ordered ...). Draught Estrella Galicia and a good selection of spirits.

Jan Seré: I don't understand why this restaurant gets such good reviews. The restaurant is totally unsociable, bright white lights and plastic table covers. The beer we got was lukewarm The food is average at best. Their special appetizer is deep fried things that all taste the same. The chicken madras rather tasteless and the rice is ok. I'm sure you can find a better Indian food experience elsewhere.

Leyla Bennet: It’s a small restaurant run by a family. I think the food was really tasty and authentic. As for service, I felt like I was at my uncle’s house, very welcoming vibes. If you care about interior design then you might not like it, but apart from that I loved this place and would probably go back if I crave Indian cuisine.

Saurabh Mukhekar: I had Indian food many places in Barcelona 🇪🇸. This is best authentic Indian tasty food 🍲. I ordered Chicken Jalfezi along with garlic nan, it was so tasty. Highly recommended for Indian food lovers.

Mokrini Fatima: An excellent restaurant with very good meals. the service is perfect!!

Genevieve Huckabee: Great food, very tasty with lots of flavor. Comes out fresh and fast. Excellent service! Will be back 😍

nazanin karimi: Since I'm in Barcelona ,I went there two times specially for having Malay Kofta , it's amazing specially with butter Naan, don't miss this heaven dish if you go there , pistachio ice cream and mango Lassi also were good

Carlos Pinon: A great place if you like Indian. The cost and service is very good. The Curry's we had were well prepared and delicious.

Swad-The Indian Restaurant: what do users think?

elvira pons (Mediterranean Spice): Swad means tasty and indeed it is a great way to describe the tasting menu! It’s 24€ and you get so much food and flavours! My favourite was the butter chicken and the rice pudding dessert! Will certainly come back!

abhay mishra: It is my go to place for authentic Indian food in Barcelona. Love the taste and presentation. It is recommended to make a booking as there is limited seating. Very good vegetarian options. Will keep coming back 👍

Jakub Marek: Not an indian food, it looks indian, but that taste is too off. Naan looks more like a pizza, taste of the food is “too clean” - for someone who loves indian food I can tell this one is only a tourist attraction because of its look. I do not recommend, three stars because waiter was nice and so was the place.

Mohan Shash: Tried this restaurant during our vacation. The food is average. The paneer tikka in the pic was flavorless, other than turmeric we didn’t taste anything. The curry was okay. The ambience is of a cozy restaurant.

goran milushev: Cosy restaurant with tasty food. Although I give ‘em only three stars for two reasons - first as they gave us a time slot of one and a half hours which is more than enough but it took them 30 min to collect the order and another 40 min to serve the dishes so we had to rush with eating. The other big fail was that they put a lot of spices in the dish of our child and as we complained about that they told us we would be hypersensitive. Kid-friendliness: We ordered no spicy food for our child. They brought us the most spicy dish over all others and told us we would be hypersensitive to spices.

Isabel Da Silva: Incredible, authentic Indian food. Fresh ingredients, attentive service. Calm environment, minimalist decor. One of our favourite restaurants in the area, we keep coming back, and definitely one of our favourite Indians in the city.

Simon Bressanelli: Very delicious food. Vegetarian options were great. Speedy and polite service and a very clean restaurant right by the main Street of Poblenou. If you're in the area and fancy a more decadent but reasonably priced Indian meal, this is the place.

Akshay Mohikar: We were visiting Barcelona and decided to go to this restaurant for lunch, just looking at the reviews. We were not disappointed...! Absolutely wonderful food. I would.highlu recommend palak paneer and the veg. biriyani. Service was very prompt.

Pritul Sanghavi: A great small Indian restaurant. Being an Indian i can say the food was well prepared and good taste. The service was good and quick. Found the people very friendly. Quantities are a bit less. Lots of choices for vegetarian food lovers. Overall a good experience. Small place so please book in advance

Uj Peter: Fresh, clean flavours. Reasonable prices. Well above the "European Indian" average. Try Lamb Chettinad!

Bembi Restaurante: what do users think?

Gabe G: One of the best Indian restaurants I've visited so far. The place is nice, the service is good and fast, and of course, the food is delicious. From start to end, everything was fantastic, the lamb was served in a small bowl with a bread that was cooked with the steem of the lamb, then cut when served, it was beautiful and tasted so good. I ordered cheese bread on the side, which I ate entirely, and finally, a dessert made of deep fried balls of dulce de leche, with vanilla ice cream, marvelous. The place is so good, I will be back for sure.

THIRU Mohan: Where to start . Ok . First of all the atmosphere is so amazing . Background music is good . Customer service is another level . Ordered three biriyani veg , chicken and lamb . All three has three different flavours which means all cooked differently. Everything Tasted amazing including that masala chai . Presentation splendid . Flavours were authentic . Spice level tuned to our taste. I liked the concept of not serving biriyani sauce because back home in india we don’t serve that sauce . Made our day after walking 1.2 miles just for eating . Well done guys . Highly recommended . Even the booking system is so easy . A 5 star rated restaurant .

Swagatam Restaurant: what do users think?

Saran: One of the first and the best Indian restaurants which we visited after reaching Barcelona. Unlike a bad experience which we had on another Indian restaurant in Barcelona, this was extremely opposite to that. Place might be small but the owners and people who work inside who greet you right from entering and chatting with you until you leave will make you feel like you're in India. There was different varieties of food which you can order from less spicy to medium and extremely spicy. We visited Barcelona for only 3 days and what more to say we had food all 3 days from here. Everything was tasty and people were friendly which you can experience from the moment you walk-in.

Ella Dehghani: They not only provide amazing yummy authentic food, but also make you feel at home! We tried different dishes and kindly provided dishes with mild spices for my parents. Their lassi was also good - this is the second time we are going here, how much the food and atmosphere is great Laal , Sing were simply amazing

Han Kim: Had the pleasure of dining at Swagatam on my first day in Barcelona. Easily one of the best Indian food I've ever had, and serving size was great at reasonable prices. The personable service (especially the humour) of Lal the owner was very much appreciated and will try to visit again during my stay in Barcelona for sure.

Alexander King: A must try if you’re looking for good Indian food in Barcelona. I’m so glad I found this place early on during my study abroad here because I’m a huge fan of Indian food and eat it fairly often in the US. I came for lunch with a group of 4 and we all agreed the food was delicious, rich, and felt home cooked. Our waiter, Lal, was also absolutely hilarious and was singing and cracking jokes with us which put us in the best mood. The food was also pretty reasonably priced considering how much you get and how tasty it is. Swagatam is easily one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve tried in recent memory and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality Indian meal in Barcelona. I can’t wait to come back!

Bruno Ferenci: I would had never go in, if its not recommended by someone. This type of cold light exists only in asian restaurants and public healthcare, and for me its not really welcoming. But the food, the food was superb, they gave us 4 different sauces to the table i really liked the spicy one. We had samosas as a starter, fresh and fully filled, then went for a chicken saag, and rogan gosht both were really delicious, ate it with garlic naan and rice. Mango lassi was also well done. Definitely will go back
Response: Bruno Ferenci Thanks sir your visit with swagatam see you soon next 🌟

Nand Nandan Jha: Brilliant food. We are an Indian - North Indian foodie family. Vegetarians. So I can't comment on non-veg part but the vegetarian was very good actually. Authentic taste. We had seen all the reviews and then we went there and we were not disappointed. In fact we did go to other funky restaurants nearby but we found swagtam's taste was much better. Restaurant has seating outside as well inside. In terms of ambience or style it is not that great but the taste is just awesome. Definite try once if you love Indian food. Toilets etc clean. Overall very good. The owner was quite a nice gentleman as well and we ended up chatting a lot as well In terms of parking there are always many around but please be aware that the parking places in Barcelona are not safe. Please park in a manned parking only. I found NN valencia good and parked there. A long walk from there though.....

Eduardo: Walked in by chance and found the BEST masala I have ever tasted both sides of the Atlantic! The detail of the preparation of all ingredients was clearly evident in the palate. I wish I could savor their food every day. Service also exceptional.

Christina F: Visited the place on a weekday for dinner, the place is quite intimate and the owner very friendly! The dishes we tried were delicious and generous in serving. The owner also served us a homemade salt-spices mix that I’ve never tried in other restaurants. Definitely a place to try :-)
Response: Christina F thanks allots your visit with swagatam see you soon next ☀️

Isabel H.: I had such a wonderful dinner that I returned the next day again. Both nights they have been so friendly and caring. The food was just so delicious, definitely the best I had during my entire time in Barcelona. I am vegan and even though there is not many vegan dishes on the menu they were able to make everything vegan for me. The second night they even made a curry that wasn’t on the menu since I asked for something with chickpeas. They also remembered me and offered me a vegan wine. This is what I call perfect service and I highly recommend to go there. I would go back any time if I am back to Barcelona. Thank you for two great evenings!

aharon Ben chaim: We were on lunch time and had the meal package. Lal was very nice and was taking care of us. Food was delicious and drinks were included in the meal. Highly recommend! and we will be back soon :)Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Bombay Spicy: what do users think?

Kyle Martin Greer: The best Indian Food I've had so far in my life. We had #31 on the main menu and the mixed veggies, garlic Non and spicy lamb. Service was very friendly and with a good atmosphere. Very nice looking restaurant that can accommodate a large party.

Amol Modak: I felt like home while having food at Bombay Spicy Restaurant. Everything was fantastic. You must try their self made Gulabjamuns. One last thing, you should not miss the authentic home Green Chutney. One of the best I ever had ☺️

Pree: Ordered basic dal chapati which had very homely taste. Had chhole bhatura after long time and they tasted really yum. Spices were very nicely added so tasted really flavourful. Had Golgappe as well. They were fine. Gol gappe or pani puri (as some call it)water was very minty in taste not khatta meetha. But tasted good. Service was quick and very humble staff. Would recommend it for Indian food when you are in Barcelona and especially near La Rambla just go for it. Giving 4 stars only bcz of the washroom as it was not clean. But food is worthy and tasty. 👍

Connie Lee: Excellent hole in the wall. Exceeded my expectations. I had the vegetarian plate and a beer. Cost 13.75 euros. I ordered it spicy which kept me here a bit longer. Very good!

Kirtan Dobariya: Food is good, i wouldn't say delicious. Though, i have tried Thali not the other dishes. The prices of the Thali are 11.5-14 Euros depends on vegetarian or non-veg dish. You will get two Vegetables, rice, one naan, gulab jamun, salad, pakoras, pickle and green chutney. The owner wasn't too friendly, but not rude as well. 8-10 minutes of walk from Placa de Catalunya to reach here. Restaurant has seating facilities on two floors. Prices are affordable, i think because this place is just a little far from the city center. Restaurant opens at 12 pm. (Written: April, 2022)

manjit prasad: Awesome food and portions. We ordered a veg and a non veg thali and loved it. For my European friends who ask for authentic Indian taste, this is it. Felt like home made Indian food and the service was quick and friendly. The ratings on Google is truly justified.

Greg Norris: Bombay Spicy is delicious. The owner is so kind. Lovely smile, gentle soul, with that self assurance that only comes when you know the food is the best in the city. Bombay bangs, yo! 10/10

Yogesh Desai: We are looking for good Indian food in Barcelona and found bombay spicy restaurant. The service was excellent & food was freshly prepared & tasty. It's certainly recommended if you're visiting barcelona in Spain.

Mark Baumgart: A nice authentic Indian restaurant. Ordered spicy Chicken Vindaloo and we were not disappointed. The sauce was good, chicken within was well cooked as were the potatoes. Smaller location but fast service. Large portions, great prices. Friendly efficient staff Of all of the Indian Restuarants we have visited in Spain it was clearly my 2nd best. Be sure to follow me for more uncompensated reviews of everyday places throughout western Europe, Spain, Middle East & America.

Nidhi Joshi: My first visit to Barcelona and I was craving for Indian food or feeling home sick.So we picked up this place after reading the reviews online and damn so happy we did the right thing. Reasons for us to visit again or recommend to everyone are as follows. 1) cleanliness/Hygienic on point. 2) food pricing very normal. 3) prepared according to our requirements. 4) size portion perfect for two people if ordered one curry and dal. 5) unlimited mirchi onions and lemons to eat ( 😜🤪) 6) customer service 100% 7) the owner of the place Rinki ji very welcoming and warm. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 8) in the end food tastes 🤪🤪🤪🤪heaven.

Out of India: what do users think?

Borja Samsó Arnaiz: Really good chicken butter curry. We were craving curry and this place had good teviews, so we gave it a try and didn’t disappoint. The restaurant decoration is modern and the atmosphere is great. The service were really attentive and recommending some dishes. The quality of the food was quite good although I’m not an expert on Indian food. We saw a couple of Indian families, so that always is a good signal. Recommended if you fancy Indian in Barcelona.

Jozi Girl: Lovely atmosphere and decor. Warm friendly efficient service. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food was exceptionally good, flavorful, delicious and well presented. I should of ordered a bit more spicier. Highly recommended. QR Menu for customers and free Wi-Fi.

Kok Shew Juan: Definitely one of the best Indian cuisine I had tried from 4 different countries. The taste was not too salty but flavors were full. Their chef specialties which were recommended are what I had ordered and it was very good.

Lalit Kaurani: One of the best Indian meals in the city. The presentation of the food excellent. Taste superb. We had the papdi chaat and vegetable crisps as starters and the vegetables we hands down the best. Main was handi biryani which was amazingly done as it came wrapped with the flour dough cover which made it more authentic. For dessert the pistachio kulfi did the rest. P. s. They offered us one of the forthcoming dish to taste ( i am not gonna reveal what it was ) and wow it was too good. Price was correct form the quality of food and service offered.

Nicole Van Der Merwe: I ordered the samoosas and lamb Biryani. Such a pity that the service is not great at all. The table next to me was arguing with the waiter about him bringing a more expensive bottle of wine without them being aware - make sure you always check the bottle of wine they bring to your table. The place looks really lovely from the outside but I won't recommend it.

Amit B: Authentic Indian taste. Great service by staff, suggested their signature dishes and they all were amazing except for the pista kulfi. But starters and main course was amazing. Super tasty food and good atmosphere. Highly recommend if you want to have tasty yummy Indian food. Great variety for vegan and vegetarian food.

Marco Tuscher: Amazing food & location. They were really friendly there and the food was quite amazing. Had a biriany and they cover it with a naan on the pod. Also the street food they offer is great and is a perfect match for the traditional indian dishes.

Maarten Thijs: The food was great, the server was really nice, and I can especially recommend the Kulfi Cashew nut ice cream with Saffron sauce. It was one of the most special things I've ever eaten.

Stefano Marchesan: One of the best Indian restaurant I've ever been. Delicious food, warm welcome, fair prices. If you like me love indian cuisine, you'll love this place. Recommended! Vegetarian options: Indian cuisine is more vegetarian-centered so it is absolutely not a problem to find vegetarian options.

Wagner Barbosa: I was looking for a place near the station Barceló Sants and found this one. It's super nice, great prices and very tasty menu. The staff is super friendly and ready to take care of you.

Indian Herbs: what do users think?

Harry: Nice little Indian that offers excellent value for money. Service is outstanding, dishes were good but certainly not amazing. The place is very clean, but not too cozy. Would return when around.Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Galka Kai: Delicious Indian food! I ordered menu of the day, which came with soup, chicken, rice, dessert, naan, and beverage. Very good deal for 12 euros. The workers were also very attentive and explained the dishes.
Response: Thank you so much Galka. We´re glad that you liked everything & hope that you come back soon :)

Susan Gautam: Authentic Indian food, great service, fantastic terrace to breathe some fresh air. Recommended to all. We will surely come back to try other new dishes. Thanks Karan chef for the delicious food.
Response: Thank you for the lovely photos & kind words Susan. You're most welcome here anytime to try our other delicacies. See you soon :)

Sumita Deshmukh: I came here after seeing all the reviews and they did not disappoint. I had a palak paneer and nan and it was perfectly delicious. I wish I could have tried more dishes but I was alone so I’ll definitely be back again! Went back and had the paneer khadai which was again very delicious!
Response: Thank you so much Sumita. We´re glad that you had an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to host you again soon :)

Amaar Quadri: Great Indian restaurant that was much better than I expected! The chicken Madras and mango lassi were both awesome. The staff were very friendly too. Would highly recommend this place for some good Indian food.

Ramiro Brandt: Food normal, not very tasty but ok.Prices seems normal but you end needing bread or rice thats also charged.About 20€, but had a discount from Fork

Paula Roa: Best indian food I've ever tried! Totally delicious, generous portions and friendly staff. I recommend it 100%.

J O: It was my first time trying Indian food and it made me fell in love with it! Everything we tried was very good, and my boyfriend who’s had tried many Indian restaurants before said that it was the best one he tried. I recommend the mango juice if you want to try an Indian drink, it was just excellent. The prices are affordable and it is worth it. Thank you for this amazing dinner.

panikar meenu: Splendid delicacies available at this particular spot. A one stop for Indian Cuisine lovers, a blend of different spices just adds a scrumptious taste to their curries. Highly recommended. Many thanks to the chef for his signature dish !!! Awesome and Splendid !!!

Siddharth Shitut: One of the best Indian restaurants that I've been to among many countries in Western Europe. Run by Indians so the food is authentic and flavourful.Went there twice during our short stay in Barcelona. Recommended if you're craving desi food on a long holiday in Europe!

Tandoor: what do users think?

Xavier: Great food and experience. We really enjoyed the food and experiencing new flavours and cooking techniques. Been here twice and will definitely come back and try other dishes. Really attentive staff. Absolutely worth the price (25-30€/head)

Juanjo Soler: Food is good but in my opinion a bit overpriced and the portions are not too generous. For example something so cheap and easy to make as rice should come in larger portions. The overall experience was just OK.

Dina Rodriguez: I'm a usual goer!! The food is just amazing and the service as well. It's sometimes hard to choose the options you have on the set menu because everything they have is really delicious!! Besides, nowadays with the pandemic, you can feel safe because they do take the necessary hygienic and safety measures. You must book a table!

Corbmac McKay: I really enjoyed my meal at Tandoor. The menu is quite limited but the quality of the food was really high - the yogurt salad starter was delicious! I would have preferred a bit more heat in the curries and felt that it missed the mark here. The dessert, their own take on rice pudding with pistachio, was incredible. The decor is nice but there wasn’t much of an atmosphere - I’d recommend lower and warmer lighting with some candles on the tables to help set the mood. I’ll definitely be back though!

Mayank Sharma: The place has a great ambience. We had some chat which was nothing special but the naan, parathas and the vegetarian main course was very tasty. Importantly the tables were nicely spaced out and there was light modern Bollywood music on.

Rita Butkute: We ordered Tikka masala, korma and mutton biryani to take away, and found everything just crazy delicious! Like 'I wanna cry it's so delicious'! Definitely one of the very best Indian foods I ever tried. If we lived in Barcelona, we would eat in Tandoor very often!

SK Gupta: Had a lovely Indian experience in the center of Barcelona!! The decor, ambience, service-with-a-smile, lip smacking food and great welcoming staff. Dal makhani was to good and so was Malai Kosta and kadhi. Many thanks to Ms Punam for her welcome and for the lovely experience that we had. We were a group of five including an American, a Venezuelan and a South African other than us Indians. And all of us had a great time - we'll be back soon.

Pari Shah: One of the best Indian food places we tried in Barcelona! The mango lassi & sweet lassi were fantastic. Definitely get the Palak Paneer & Butter Chicken (spicy for both). Customer service was fantastic as well! Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options!

Borja Berastegui: When we got to the place we fell in love with the industrial yet colorful vibe. All the waiters are nice and efficient, which always makes the experience better. About the food, it is clear that the products they use are high quality, and that their interpretation of traditional indian flavours takes into account our lower tolerance to spicy. All in all, the meal was good, however, and only to my oppinion, the price/worth ratio is quite elevated.

Angelo Vassallo: Great Indian restaurant with creative and tasty plates. We enjoyed the experience from the beginning to the end. Friendly and professional service. Food really nice presented with attention to details. Experience to repeat in couple or with friends.

Rasoi, Restaurant Indian: what do users think?

Jessica Singh: Delicious food! We had the chicken tandoori, vegetable rasoi, chicken khadai, lamb rasoi, garlic prawns, puri chat, jeera rice and some breads (they even made us chili garlic naan off the menu!). We ordered 3 rounds of the chicken tandoori - it was so good. Took a little extra long for the food to come but it was very worth the wait.
Response: Thank you for having taken your time to provide us with your valuable feedback. See you soon in Rasoi. 😊 -Rasoi

Juhi Parekh: Rasoi : another Indian goto restaurant in Barcelona ! Ambience is perfect ! Dine in would be recommended as when food is hot , taste is better . The best here would be gulaab jamón in the dessert . Being Indian vegetarian i enjoyed the flavour and taste of the food here . It feels authentic . They serve paapad and sauces (chutneys) In the beginning , great ones . I ordered naan and paneer rasoi ki ,,, no words to express the taste . They were amazing . Would recommend to choose any Dias of paneer , they would be fresh and delicious . Not expensive too. It’s in good location as well. If you are here in Barcelona, try the authentic food at rasoi 😊
Response: We're raving about the review and rating Juhi! 5 stars is the best way to know if what we do and how we do it is the best for our customers. We work hard to achieve 100% satisfaction, we're glad to hear that's the case for you. Best regards.

Gastón Zorzano: Great authentic food, good for me that I can't really handle spicy food but love the seasoning they use. Good and fast service. Not the cheapest of places but I think it is worth it
Response: It is a pleasure to read your comment. We give the best of ourselves thanks to customers like you. We hope to see you again and we will be happy to serve you again, thank you! -Rasoi

Andrea Totaro: Amazing food! From starter to desert. We both loved it so much! So special. Even the basmati rice. Excellent service and price. Puri chat Nan cheese Lamb korma Lamb vindaloo
Response: Thank you Andrea for the wonderful review.

Jainif Marediya: Service is ok and the food is ok as well. We did family style with a large group and were left unimpressed. If you don’t have Indian often you might end up liking this place but if you have high standards like we do you’ll be left wanting more

Kalash R. Rathore: One of the best Indian restaurants in Switzerland !! Visit there to satisfy your masala cravings and you won’t be disappointed. Please book your table in advance to avoid the long wait.

Paramjeet Singh: The food was just fantastic. They have a huge variety of Indian Food available in their Menu.
Response: We couldn't be happier to know that the experience you had with us was a positive one. We look forward to hearing from you, best regards and thank you.

La Serie: A real taste of India!Bonito inside..one of best Veg Pakora!

Aman Sekhon: I will be short and on the point. The service was terrible and the chicken methi malai was way too salty, whereas butter chicken and aloo gobi was ok.

Swathi Dola: Amazing food nice ambiance. Starter are awesome specially you must try chille 🍤 . Chutney are too good. Keema naan is delicious. Felt like having food in India. Chicken fried rice is not upto the mark.
Response: Thank you Swathi for having taken your time to provide us with your valuable feedback. See you soon in Rasoi. 😊

Casa Masala Restaurante: what do users think?

Radu Alex Ursu Jigalov: Such a lovely place to grab a fast lunch, to have a business meeting, a date or whatever you imagine. It adapts very well for all types of clients. Just have to let your senses guide you through a wonderful experience of smells and an explosion of flavours. It will definitely leave you with a "I want more" sensation. Just go and enjoy it with your heart open and you will feel like you were in Mumbai. Perfect. Regards to the crew, very good job guys. Keep going.
Response: Hello Radu! Thany you very much for your kind words. We really appreciate it. We hope to see you again soon, because if you want more, we got more! 😊😉 Regards!

Sathvik Prasad: Cozy restaurant, perfect for lunch and dinner. Friendly staff. Reserving a table is easy. The ambiance and decor gives the Indian vibe. I would have given five stars but limited to 4 as the vegetarian options were less. Highly recommend the naans and Rasmalai.
Response: Hi Sathvik! Thank you very much! It is great to read you enjoyed your visit. We hope to see you soon! Regards! :)

Kapil Joshi: I wish I found this place sooner! It is by far my favorite Indian restaurant in Barcelona and it was some of the best Indian food that I’ve had outside of India. The waitress was extremely polite and served with a smile which complemented the delicious food well. I wish I got the opportunity to meet the owner and learn more about their story but this is forever on my list of places to eat in Barcelona. The only reason that it missed a 5-star rating from me is that the Rasmalai Flan lacked the texture that I am used to with Rasmalai. That it’s not to say it was not delicious and flavorful, just a mere observation.
Response: Hello Kapil! Thank you so much for sharing your experience in our curry bar. We feel very happy knowing you really enjoyed it. It is an honor to be so well considered and we truly hope you come back someday soon. Best regards!

Borja Samsó Arnaiz: Really surprised about this small modern indian restaurant. The menu is not huge but the all the dishes are carefully selected, plus some menu options. I had the 13.8€ menu that includes curry of the day, basmati rice, tomato/cucumber salad and a couple more things, plus a mango lassi dessert. It was delicious. Definitely recommended!
Response: Hi Borja! It is great to read your comments about your first visit - and hopefully not the last. :) Thank you for recommending us! We are looking forward to see you again soon. Regards!

Susen Ahluwalia: Tried this place out for the first time and we had the ‘Menu del Día’ - somewhat pricy for what you get and the quantities were not enough for a hungry Indian like me! (I did ask for more of their delicious daal and they were kind enough to give me a refill). The acoustics and the closeness of all the tables meant it got noisy as the place filled up with lunchers, so we had our desserts outside, where there was plenty of space. Staff were very cool and we did feel ‘at home’ so to speak as it was an informal (yet professional and courteous) atmosphere and any time we asked for something, it was given without fuss or debate. (Like the extra daal and moving to the terrace) - That’s a plus for me at any restaurant and it’s what will bring me back…but I’ll be ordering from the main menu. Peaked into the kitchen area for a great shot of that Tandoor oven! 👌🏽

Shikha Maheshkar: I really enjoy the food.We ordered Dahi puri - it was yumm, pork vindalo taco., chicken tikka masala and cheese naan and in dessert- Rasmalai Flan- which was cherry on the cake😎
Response: Hello Shikha! We feel very happy to read your review! It is always great knowing you enjoyed your visit, and of course, we wish you to come back very soon to our curry bar. :) Best regards!

Christopher Suttenfield: An excellent place to grab a quick curry for lunch. They have a lunchtime tali special which includes two types of currys on a tray, some sauces, some vegetables as well as some roti. Also comes with a wine, beer or soft drink and a dessert. The atmosphere is cheap and cheerful with great Indian style murals on the walls which give it a fun vibe. Worth checking out if you like Indian food.
Response: Hello Christopher! Thank you very much for sharing your impressions and for recommending a visit to our curry bar. We hope to see you again very soon! Cheers!

Leire Zabala: Very impressed with the food! It was nice to try some Indian dishes and desserts, and I'm curious to try some other ones, so very likely to repeat the experience! A nice cute place too!
Response: Hello Leire! We thank you very much your visit and for sharing your exprerience with us. Nothing will make us happier than to see you again at the curry bar. :)

Carol Ló: Amazing food! Excellent service! Just delicious 🤗
Response: Hi Carol! Thank you very much for your comments! Hope to see you again soon. ☺️ Regards!

Borja Berastegui: Definitely, one of the best places to enjoy Indian cuisine with a western twist. For instance, the iberic pork tandoori (Presa Tandoori) was extraordinary and the Kulfi & Rasmalai blew our mind. The place is not cheap enough to go every week (although that sounds tempting) but the waitress (really friendly, btw) told us that they change the menu every 3/4 months, so its the perfect trimestral gastronomic treat.
Response: Hello Borgia! Thank you very much for your words and your assessment. We invite you to come back soon and rediscover our place and our dishes, because although we haven't had Kulfi for a while, we're sure you'll like what's new. :) A hug and see you soon.

Papadam: what do users think?

Cristi: The restaurant is a good option at the bottom of Montjuic. The menu is quite diverse, the prices are mid. Service is friendly and efficient. We had a soup, a Persian rice and the lamb chops massala. The lamb chops were the stars, but the main dishes were large size and tasty, very nice. The bill was very good with the discount.

Saran: Could've been better but for what we got, it was one of the bad restaurants which we visited in Barcelona. Disappointed with the customer service and taste/quality of food. There are several small Indian restaurants which offer good quality and quantity with an excellent customer service nearby. First and foremost, the orders were delayed which we understand by the amount of customers that were present but what we expect after waiting for long time is a good tasty food but no. Samosas tasted like the frozen ones which we receive in supermarket and oily. Papadam special biriyani has nothing special about it than cold and bland taste. Asked for few cups of dessert (Rasamalai) which was available only two cups and you should see the response from the waiter. No apology or no asking if we need something else other than that. Looks like a novice bunch of waiters and management, teach them how to be friendly and have a smiling face. Total disappointment! 2 stars only for their ambience.

Gantu Bogdan: Very good food, ordered curry pollo with egg rice, the curry is not spicy but has a very good taste. My girlfriend had Aamdia pollo and she liked it, it was too sweet for my taste, but good nonetheless. Also the daal soup was spicy and good.

Adina Mezin: Amazing. As i'm not a fan of indian food (because of the condiments, the spiciness) I tried my luck and took the Aamdia chicken with egg rice, as it was not spicy at all. On the contrary, it was very sweet and creamy. Very pleasantly surprised. Totally recommend it.

Tom Fisher: The best place in the city to get a curry, without a doubt. Fantastic selection of dishes and specials, and all the things you’d want to see on the menu. If you’re fancying a fix of Indian cuisine - head to this place.

Manfred Burghardt: We went to Barcelona for the first time and felt like having an Indian meal. After a little search, we decided in favour of the Popadam. We did not regret this decision at all: the waiter was very friendly and helpful, we did not have to wait too long, the food was presented in an appealing way and was very tasty. We are always on the lookout for new dishes, and we enjoyed these here very much. We can definitely recommend this restaurant. When we revisit Barcelona, we will definitely come back.

Salim Şahin: My friends and I ordered tikka mosalla chicken, lamb and naan. None of them were good. Once more, I saw that Google maps scorings may be deceptive.

Shira Zecharia: A classic indian restaurant. Mango lassi was perfect and the paneer was good and different. Survice is fine.

Diyar Darwish: It’a an amazing restaurant, food is so good you will accidentally eat your own fingers with the food. Every bit is delicious, the food doesn’t get boring. Had a nice time with my friends. The staff was also very kind, and at last the price was in a nice balance with the quality, I would actually say the price is too low.

Utkarsh Patil: I visited this place for a dinner and people are nice. I wanted to eat something spicy and considering that spicy in Barcelona is not the same in India I ordered the most spicy plate of chicken. I was told it will be spicy and with lot of flavour. It wasn't. It was just full of red chilli powder and no other taste apart from spicy chilly. This is not what we eat in India. It has to be flavoursome. We also ordered roti and mutter paneer (green peas with cottage cheese) which was nice. For started we ordered hara bhara kebab and we felt it was definitely not hará bhara kebab. It was more like fried pakoras of spinach. I am attaching the pictures and you can see what we ordered.

Bar Bar - The Indian Gastronomia: what do users think?

Georgina: I came to this place to have dinner with my partner and we absolutely loved it! This was a unique culinary experience that you will not find at other Indian restaurants: the beauty of the dishes, the meaning, the influence of Catalan/ Spanish with the Indian culture in two of the dishes was absolutley gorgeous. The environment was perfect, quiet, with nice light and music, and the waiter was very passionate and kind. Thanks so much and we will be back!
Response: Hi Georgina, Thank you very much for your comment. We are glad to know that you have enjoyed your visit to Bar Bar. We strive to take care of every little detail so that our clients have an unforgettable experience. We hope you come back to visit us soon Greetings. the bar bar team

KJ: Our host Gurleen made us feel very welcomed and helped us choose the right dishes. Food was superb and taste was on point. Best Indian ever had outside of UK. Going to try their other restaurant Farzi in London which am sure will be similarly awesome.
Response: Hi KJ, Thank you very much for your comment. We are happy to know that you have enjoyed your visit to Bar Bar. We strive to take care of every little detail so that our clients have an unforgettable experience. We hope you come back to visit us soon Best Regards,. Team Bar Bar

John Moola: Amazing find of a gem … amazing services by Aman and team. Food was exceptional and in my opinion value for money. The quality and taste of the Mumbai CTM and the Railway Lamb curries were off the chart! The starters of Duck & Jackfruit cones with apricot sauce was genius… top marks and will be back again for sure.
Response: Hi John, Thank you very much for your comment. We are glad to know that you have enjoyed your visit to Bar Bar. We strive to take care of every little detail so that our clients live an unforgettable experience. We hope you come back to visit us soon Greetings. the bar bar team

Alexandre mangal: I have mixed feeling. Location is good, decoration is good staff is friendly and food is well presented. But the taste is not as great as it looks like. Thanks for the dinner!

Liam Sydall: amazing...food was a totally great experience (and im vegan!!) and every single member of staff was attentive and explained every dish. cannot wait to go back!!
Response: Hi Liam, Thank you very much for your comment. We are happy to know that you have enjoyed your visit to Bar Bar. We strive to take care of every little detail so that our clients have an unforgettable experience. We hope you come back to visit us soon Best Regards,. Team Bar Bar

Jiya Sharma: Was really interested to check out Bar Bar after seeing all the reviews here and I can confirm — it lives up to the hype 🔥 Really great food — especially the starters and rasmalai! It was my birthday and a big thank you to the team for the dessert and wishes

Karanveer Singh: Gurleen and Ram made the 2 evenings we had here extra special. The first night gurleen recommended the top dishes from the restaurant. We enjoyed the food so much that we brought in 14 of our other friends the next night. If you are coming to Barcelona and missing your Indian food. This is the place.
Response: Dear Karanveer, Thank you very much for your comment. We are happy to know that you have enjoyed your visit to Bar Bar. We strive to take care of every little detail so that our clients have an unforgettable experience. We hope you come back to visit us soon Best Regards, Team Bar Bar

Farid Singh: So, as an Indian I had mixed feelings going here, specially for Diwali. But overall, I'd recommend Bar Bar to anyone. The food was a great refreshing take on Indian food. Yes it's expensive, yes it's not completely authentic, but they have done a fantastic job trying to refresh food, which would usually be the same everywhere. The starters were interesting, the Golgappa and fried chicken were fantastic. The mains of the lamb, Dal and chicken were fantastic, and I'd just return for these. The palak paneer and aloo were good, but nothing amazing. The fish was great but for nearly 20 euro, I felt way too expensive for a small piece of fish. The naans were fantastic. Soft, but crispy and flavourful. Things to get better. They were struggling with staff both in and out of kitchen I felt. Our waiters were fantastic but felt like for the experience, they were just out numbered. As a result our food was not warm. The naans were cold while some dishes came later than originally planned. That's ok, we did order 6 unique dishes, but I'd ask them to pay attention to this or let tables know, hey food comes as ready, would you prefer particular dishes. Etc. The starters had very limited chutneys with them, specially the chicken. The sauce was crazy good, just very limited for the size. Same for the samosa chat and aloo. Drinks were well priced. 3 euro for a chilled beer. I would love for them to push their innovative cocktails but at 8-9 euro is a big ask to try, maybe have cutting cocktails for 4-5 as an option. Otherwise, I'd go again. For sure just for that lamb gravy, chicken and daal. They didn't have chana Bhatura which disappointed nearly half of our group. So we need to try that too.

Virginia Maria Luaces Bossini: Nice place to eat good quality Indian gastronomic food in Barcelona. The service was excellent. The owners are really nice hostesses. 100% recommended. We will come back!
Response: Dear Virginia, Thank you very much for your comments and for giving us the opportunity to serve you. We appreciate your comments and the satisfaction that emerges from them, both with regard to the quality, preparation and presentation of our dishes as well as the pleasant atmosphere that is breathed in the place. Thanking you for your trust, we hope that in the future you will have the opportunity to visit us again. Receive our warmest regards. Team Bar Bar

David: Saw this place next to the place I was at and decided to try it out since I like Indian food. It turns out they have really good food. A bit spicy for me but still very tasty. I will come back to try the other dishes.

Rasoi Ghar Restaurant indian: what do users think?

Tomasz: I have to say, this is very honest and tasty Indian food, just quality stuff. Garlic bread was amazing, rice cooked to perfection and chicken in this creamy sauce was simply delicious. I have to add that staff was so nice, they has time to explain the long menu and turned down the AC cause was a bit too chill inside for me. I'm coming back, can't wait to go through their all menu! :)

Response: Thank you for your rating of Rasoi ghar and for recommending us to other customers. It is a pleasure for us to offer you a good experience. We hope it will be repeated soon, we remain at your disposal, best regards!

SF O: Indian food in Barcelona near the bay. The menu was extensive - but take note that the portions are big and watch the spice levels. We ordered a lot and ended up not finishing it. Price is on the expensive side but meals could be better planned for sharing.
Response: We always want to do our best, so we would like to improve the opinion you have of us, could you tell us how? Thank you in advance, best regards.

Aditya Naugain: One of the best indian restaurants to eat in Barcelona. I went to 3 different indian restaurants during my stay in Barcelona , but Rasoi Ghar had the most authentic indian taste and Pushker ji hosted us with a lot of warmth , as if we were in New Delhi . Highly recommended . Being a Dilliwallah in Spain , I loved the food . You can personally tell them how spicy you want the food to be , and they prepare it accordingly . Ghar ka paneer , veg momos , dal makhni and their aloo onion kulchas are a must try .
Response: Thank you for your rating of Rasoi ghar and for recommending us to other customers. It is a pleasure for us to offer you a good experience. We hope it will be repeated soon, we remain at your disposal, best regards!

T S: On our holiday trip to Barcelona, we visited Rasoi Ghar restaurant for lunch. We ordered veg manchurian, daal makhni, rice. Food was delicious and had authentic Indian taste. Chef prepared the food as per our preference so we were delighted with the service. Restaurant ambience, cleanliness was amazing. Staff was friendly, professional and can speak hindi as well. I would recommend this place to everyone and would like to visit again!
Response: We are very pleased to hear that you liked our service. We work every day to offer our customers the best experience, thank you for choosing us!

Izabela Kozłowska: I wen to Rasoi with a few Indian colleagues, we had a bunch of starters and curries as main course (vegetarian, chicken and fish). I am a big fan of naans - they have them plain, with garlic or with cheese. Delicious! The service is very attentive and kind, good price-value ratio, interesting menu and very elegant design of the interior. I give 4 starts as some people say the same restaurant in C.Londres is slightly better food-wise. I did not note much difference myself. Namaste

deepti singh: We were in Barcelona for few days and craving for Indian food.I usually read the reviews before going to any restaurant and the reviews for this restaurant are really good. We ordered panner chilli and Dal tadka.Food was really good but the reveiws about the service are wrong. The service was not so great.I called the waiter and he said 1 minute and didn't show up.I don't like this behaviour just because Barcelona is a Tourist place doesn't mean no one will know the honest review. This is the Era of Social Network. 4 **** just for the food.
Response: Thank you Deepti for taking the time to leave a review. We are delighted that your experience was a good one. We remain at your disposal for anything you need, it will be a pleasure to serve you again.
