Anna Zaragoza: First year at Grisart. A fantastic and wonderful photography school, I have learned much more than I expected, and they have helped me define myself as a professional photographer. And in addition, familiar sides are created between classmates and students.
Marta Rauric: The best photography school in Barcelona!!! I studied the first year at the Institute of Photographic Studies of Catalonia (IEFC) and nothing to see. GrisArt is modern, has great facilities, the teachers follow you well and are always waiting for you. Interestingly, some of the collaborators and professors are ex-students of the IEFC, and have chosen to work at GrisArt, such as the brilliant Israel Ariño or Salvi Danés. Very happy! I recommend it with my eyes closed.
Neus Saborido: Gris Art is a highly prestigious photography school that has been training photography enthusiasts for several years and great professionals have emerged from it. He publishes his own teaching and practical books, as well as essays by his professors. The center also has several sets, analog development rooms and computers with editing programs. I especially recommend the magnificent and wise lectures that Rafa Badia gives from time to time, a real treat for photography lovers, you learn and enjoy.
Francesc Dalmàs: A person with a lot of experience in photography and photo retouching had recommended this school to me. I was there a few days ago and although I won't be able to take the course I wanted to take due to timetables, the school gives a very good impression. They inform you correctly and professionally. Isabel María Campos González: I like the simplicity and ease of explaining, and that the main ideas of what photography is remain. I saw Joan Vendrell for the first time on YouTube, it was by chance that he came in, because I like photography. Jorge Martinez Quiroga: The Institut d'Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya is located in the grounds that house the Escola Industrial, with the entrance on Paris Street, next to the Sant Jordi Pool, being the easiest way to get to the Institut building. This entity has been carrying out the work of training and promoting photographers for many years, and one of its goals is also the conservation and dissemination of photographic heritage. Marta Rauric: My friend is studying here, and now we have learned that the enrollment of 19 1st graders serves to pay the Principal's annual salary. Each registration is 3990 €. And the thing goes up to 4200 to 2nd and 3rd. But the question is, how much does this man earn? almost 60,000 euros a year? it is outrageous in a country where people do not even reach the minimum wage. And with the facilities they have, I went for the beginner's course and the toilets were scary. Bonfires were popping up everywhere. I was thinking about taking a picture, but I think I'll look at Grisart, if I have to pay, at least in a decent place. Do not break a leg or injure yourself or ankle, you must climb stairs whether or not the building is not adapted for people with disabilities. And they have a teacher who goes with crutches, ironies of life ...

It started from helping us to choose a camera to 2 sessions with Vitor, who she really liked. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wish to expand his knowledge in photography!!!

Melissa Lopez: Wonderful lesson with Rafa! I wanted to take better pictures on my iphone, and refine my personal lens. Kevin Malta: Guillermo spent two days in Berlin teaching me everything from the basics of how to properly hold a camera, to more complex concepts around composition and exposure. He even spent the time to hone in on and articulate aspects of photography that were the most aesthetically pleasing to me (and which were objectively pleasing as well). Most importantly, I noticed a dramatic improvement in my abilities over the course of time we spent together. If you're a beginner, or even someone that knows quite a bit about photography, there is a lot you could learn from Guillermo. I would highly recommend the lessons and seeing Berlin through his eyes!

Tony Costanzo: I had 2 x 4hr photo tours with Rafa in Barcelona. These were a lot more than photo tours. I am quite experienced with the use of my camera and so Rafa after reviewing my instagram gallery designed a "workshop" tailored to my needs. He is an experienced photographer and importantly also a professional photography educator. Federico Fernández: This weekend I had the chance to participate in the creative product photography course. It was an incredible experience learning how to use the flash’s settings and composition. Arnaud is a fantastic photographer, willing to help and teach you all his knowledge about photography. I can’t wait to continue taking other courses at the school. It was a very intense weekend, but I left the school feeling prepared to take product photos in the future and a group of friends that share the same passion for photography. Clelia López: I've taken the first two courses so far and I have learned so much, that I intend to enroll in all the courses they teach. What I like the most is how detailed their explanations are. Is not just basic coverage of concepts, the courses go way beyond that and I think they offered a solid foundation to those who are looking to pursue photography more professionally but perhaps without enough time to research by themselves. I took the picture posted in the last practice class. I think I still have a long way to go technically, but looking at this photo again I realized it tells a story, perhaps of friendship or love. It doesn't matter, I think the bicycles serve as a metaphor to represent how those two people rely on each other. Very cool!

Juan Jose Malo A.: The course is amazing!! It far exceeded my expectations!! The classes are super practical but they include all the theory and advice necessary to master the camera. Isabel is an exceptional teacher and person!! 100% recommended!! Isa knows how to transmit her passion for photography, she is close, she makes it easy for you, she motivates you with her constant feedback and you really learn, apart from having a great time. I like the vision it gives of photography, that it makes you reflect on your goals and what it teaches, and that it makes it so accessible to you.
Alberto Seco: I didn't know anything about photography, I was one of those who put the automatic mode on the camera. Mia sent clear instructions to prepare us for the shoot and we bought tons of his favorite treats. Mia’s assistant was also very helpful with placing treats in certain areas to get the right photo angles. Soon after the shoot, I had access to the online gallery and after picking my favorites, I was sent the high res photos in a timely fashion. Definitely recommend this fun friendly studio!

Sanni Impilä: The Zimtstudio has taken pictures of some of the dogs we’ve had up for adoption for our animal rescue organization The Paw Portal as well as of my own senior girl. All sessions have been so great, obviously the photos have been amazing and the dogs who were looking for homes all benefited from having their pictures taken here for sure! All sessions have been so professional yet a lot of fun, these guys really know what they’re doing! Ximena Maza: We had the best of experiences doing an amazing photo session for my furry little one at Zimtstudio! My pup Milo gets really nervous around new people and surroundings but with Mia it was all the opposite from the first interaction - we had the chance to do an advance meet-and-greet at the studio, which Mia was super kind to offer, and the experience was off to the best start from the very beginning. Mia took the time to get familiar with Milo, and also to try the camera flash, etc. to avoid scaring him, making him feel safe and relaxed at all times. Then doing the photo session a few days later was even smoother - Milo was off his leash feeling so comfortable, getting THE BEST treatment, lots of treats and simply having tons of fun! He was so calm and relaxed the entire time and with Mia’s and her team’s help he was a true top model. Veronica Fernandez: fantastic school. I was this year (2016) in the advertising photography course that lasts 5 months and the truth is that I only have good words for the school. Nothing is kept and they explain things to you as they are, without putting straw to justify the hours. You learn a lot. I have been to other schools and if you want to focus your career on fashion and advertising, I would definitely choose it again. Of course, although the school is great, all this that I am telling you (at least for me) would not be possible without the teacher who teaches the classes (Xavier Escolano). A great professional. In addition, you can see that he likes to teach, since the classes are very enjoyable and educational, as well as productive. I hope they last for many years.

Gopika Barai: We used Veronica for one of our engagement sessions when we visited Barcelona. From beginning to end she was a pleasure to work with and made the entire process seamless and stress free. She has a makeup artist that she works with that I absolutely loved as well. We are thrilled with our engagement/pre-wedding photos - each photo is a work of art. We are currently working on our Save the Date postcards and we have too many favorite photos to choose from (which isn't a bad problem to have)! If you live outside of Spain and are concerned about hiring someone you haven't met, my hope is you'll put those concerns at ease because Veronica is the real deal. My fiance and I live in Washington, DC but had a trip planned to Barcelona and we thought it would be special to have our engagement photos done in Spain. He gets credit for finding Veronica through a google search and after our initial email to her, we had a thorough Skype call to talk through the details. Once we decided to move forward, she planned our session beautifully, with each location timed to have the best lighting for that part of the day. She even coordinated my hair and make-up to be done in my hotel room the morning of the shoot. Not only did the day go incredibly smoothly, we had SO MUCH FUN!! Veronica is so talented, but also knows how to have fun. It was our second day in Barcelona, but our 5-hour shoot turned into an incredible tour of the city. Veronica had a way of making us feel like we had the city to ourselves during our shoot. She was willing to do just about anything to get a great shot - she was climbing into bushes just to frame our photos beautifully! You don't have to worry about knowing how to pose; she directs everything and all you have to do is smile. We just had our engagement party in our home in DC and had our photos scrolling through our smart TV during the party. My girlfriends could not decide on their favorites; for each photo, someone would exclaim, "that one is my favorite! No, THAT one is my favorite!" They are all so beautiful and as I said, it's tough to determine which ones are the best because each one is just so special! It might sound like I'm gushing, because I am - we loved our day with Veronica and could not be happier with all of our photos. Plus, you want to have fun on your engagement shoot, right? With Veronica, you'll have an awesome day that doesn't feel like work. Don't bother searching for other photographers. If you've come across Veronica's website, your search is done!
Jessica Hearn: I can't recommend Veronica highly enough!!! We came from Scotland to Barcelona to get married in July. Veronica put us at ease completely during the whole process, helping us out with her local knowledge along the way.
