Cristian Viver: Top restaurant, the dishes are crazy and the service and presentation are very careful. They don't have a mid-day menu.
Paul Fox: We love it here. The menu is well planned out. Staff is knowledgeable of wine pairings and made some fantastic local wine suggestions for us. Iberian pig and salad with antique mustard were fantastic. Steak with morel mushrooms and rack of lamb w vanilla sauce were delicious. The owner came out to greet us and tell the story of his Dad's love of morels.

Eloy Villarroya sole: Nefasto, comimos cuatro entrantes y tres segundos, a cual peor, fríos, sin un sabor destacado, insípidos los mejillones, arroz hervido con patas de bogavante, folie mediocre, carne de vieira con poca gracia, y así cada uno de los platos que nos han servido , muy caro por lo que comimos. No se merecen estar en la lista de restaurantes recomendados por Michelin. Hay que hacer cambios y realmente separar los buenos de la mediocridad. No recomendable si buscas disfrutar de la comida que pagas
Richard Jones: Had a great meal here when in Barcelona, had already read that they were good for gluten free and was right.Waitor knew all what was in the different dishes and recommended the scallops and artichokes to start, which were amazing, so tasty.Then had duck and turbot for main, again both very tasty.Overall a great meal and great staff.Will definitely return when next in Barcelona.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Mikhaela Martin: Vivo en Barcelona y estoy muy acostumbrada a frecuentar la plaza donde se encuentra El Salón. Sin embargo, siempre solía sentar en los otros bares que tienen en esta plaza. En este día en particular, estaba con mis amigas que estaban de visita en Barcelona y decidimos ir a este restaurante porque también queríamos comer.Lamentablemente, la experiencia que tuvimos fue bastante desagradable. El camarero que tardó mucho tiempo en atender nuestra mesa (decidimos tomar asiento en la terraza/exterior del restaurante) fue increíblemente brusco al informarnos que solo se permitía sentar a personas que fueran a comer en esa mesa. Educadamente, le expliqué qué, efectivamente, íbamos a comer y simplemente queríamos pedir una botella de vino mientras ojeábamos el menú. Sin embargo, él seguía repitiendo una y otra vez que si no íbamos a comer, debíamos abandonar la mesa. Intenté explicarle varias veces que nuestra intención era disfrutar de una comida y bebidas, y que entendía que ese espacio estuviera destinado a la cena. Pero él continuó insistiendo en que lo estaba engañando y que sabía que no íbamos a pedir nada de la carta. Esto me llevó a intentar pedir algo de comida también para tratar de calmar la situación, pero incluso así, él se mostró cada vez más persistente y llegué al punto de expresarle mi desconcierto ante lo que estaba sucediendo y de calificar su comportamiento como muy maleducado.Desafortunadamente, su respuesta se tornó agresiva y comenzó a acusarme de ser yo la maleducada, insistiendo en que sabía que no íbamos a comer. La primera que han trigat molt a servir el primer plat, uns 40 minuts i la segona que cobren 2 euros pel servei. Es com una propina obligatòria i això no m’ha agradat gens motiu pel qual no he deixat cap propina voluntària. Això son les coses que molesten perquè son imposicions i motiven que no tornem mes a un local encara que el menjar sigui bo. El preu una mica car si comparem amb altres restaurants de nivell similar.

Addie Meyer: This was possibly one of the best restaurants that we went here during my time in Barcelona!The atmosphere was welcoming and intimate and the staff were very polite and gave amazing service, which made it a really great spot for a date night.Everything we ate here was top notch and amazing. I will definitely come back here to have more of the fresh pasta with prawns and garlic and the lamb chops with honey and mustard with potatoes mille-feuille.

Jonathan Campbell: After a number of disappointing meals in Barcelona we were relieved to finally find a decent restaurant. It is tucked away down a small street, and I would recommend booking as it was very busy. My wife had lamb confit for main course which we have never seen on a menu before. Staff were friendly and efficient and the prices were good value for money.

Mikhaela Martin: was incredibly abrupt in informing us that only people who were eating at that table were allowed to sit. I politely explained what we were actually eating and just wanted to order a bottle of wine while we perused the menu. However, he kept repeating over and over again that if we were not going to eat, we had to leave the table. I tried to explain several times that our intention was to enjoy food and drinks, and that I understood that this space was meant for dinner. But he kept insisting that I was cheating on him and that he knew we weren't going to order anything from the menu. This led me to try to order some food as well to try to defuse the situation, but even so he became more and more persistent and I got to the point of expressing my bewilderment at what was happening and calling his behavior very rude.Unfortunately, her response turned aggressive and she started accusing me of being the rude one, insisting that she knew we weren't going to eat. At that point, we decided to get up and find another place where we would be treated kindly. The situation was surreal and as a result I have no intention of returning to that establishment in the future.Honestly, this experience has left a very negative impression on us and I hope that situations like these don't happen to other clients. I would appreciate steps being taken to ensure respectful and courteous treatment of all visitors.

Alessio Chinni: Nos sentamos a las 19.50.. queríamos tomar una cervesa rápida y irnos. Habían tres mesas vacías, nos dicen que si no cenamos no podemos sentarnos. Osea o gastas para comer sus patatas fritas o fuera, porque esta es la restoración en Barcelona, no eres un cliente sino un bolsillo con piernas. Naturalmente las tres mesas quedaron vacías para mucho rato, prefieren esto que trabajar.Volverá el invierno, se irán los turistas y los locales te evitarán. Luego a llorar para ayudas.

kopustich kopustich: Views do not save this place from awful service and plain kitchen. The food was 2/5, turbot was 50% fat, creamy rice was fine, nothing special. The second aspect is the service, half of the tables were not served with white tablecloth. Waiter didn’t know English language and the wines that we can get by glass. I have no idea how this restaurant got the Michelin star, they do not know that when half of the dish is not eaten it signifies something is wrong. Unfortunately completely awful experience. I would not suggest this place if you are an experienced eater.

Es muy agradable cenar viendo el atardecer desde allí, pero el servicio deja mucho que desear.Teníamos reserva a las 21:15, y aún así llegamos con un poco de antelación, y salimos de cenar a eso de las 23:30. Entre plato y plato pasaba mucho tiempo.Nuestras elecciones:- Tagliatelle a la tinta con bogavante.- Brandana de bacalao.- Atún, tosta de mantequilla y crema de mostaza Karashi (ALTAMENTE RECOMENDABLE).- steak tartar (no lo recomiendo, los he probado mejores).- Solomillo de Girona.En cuanto a la comida, destacar el atún y el solomillo, el Tagliatelle y brandana unos sabores planos, nada que llamase la atención. El steak tartar los he probado mejores, tal vez la combinación de especias no es la acertada, pero esto como todo, para gustos.Volvería por las vistas.

Jessica Briscoe: Don’t go if you have children. Arrived for our booking with a baby and asked for a “baby chair”. Told that their one baby chair was in use and shown a chair with a cushion to put the baby on! When I suggested this was unsafe, the waiter shouted “this isn’t a restaurant for baby’s”. He was extremely rude and I wonder why they accepted the booking in the first place given the fact there was a baby was clearly stated. Didn’t stay after that. Lift to restaurant was very dodgy with an alarming rattle: slightly scared we wouldn’t make it. Can’t comment on the food but the place was deserted apart from us and the other family with the aforementioned high chair: it was dead atmosphere-wise.
Daniel Khor: Unfortunately I had a terrible experience at this restaurant when I recently visited Barcelona. The location and the views of the city were beautiful however this was the only pleasant thing about the evening.The waiting staff were not responsive and when respondant completely forgot the request. They managed to get orders mixed up and undercooked for various guests.When ordering our meals we were asked how we would like our steak and the waiter recommended medium but the steak came rare or basically blue, they actually argued it was cooked medium. I understand this is not a global standard but medium means no blood.Our party was so disappointed in the food and the service that we had to leave before dessert was served. It was quite disheartening considering we were there for a special event and the service and attitude of the staff spoiled the whole evening. I do not recommend the place for food however if you would like a drink with a view they can't ruin that hopefully!!

However, my expectations took a hit as I was shown to a table that didn't meet my expectations. The restaurant had run out of chairs for our table and instead substituted them with green chairs resembling camping chairs. Despite this, we took our seats and eagerly awaited the service.Unfortunately, the waiters proved to be rude and abrupt, dampening the atmosphere right from the start. When we requested a drink that wasn't part of the standard wine selection, we were flatly denied, indicating a lack of customer service. The waiters' hostile demeanour only further added to the disappointment.After ordering our main courses, we patiently waited for what felt like an eternity. When the food finally arrived, it was far from satisfactory. Before serving us, the staff asked each diner how they preferred their steak. However, upon receiving our steaks, we discovered that they were either overcooked or severely undercooked. When we tried to express our dissatisfaction and communicate our preferences, the servers responded with negativity and arrogance. They made no effort to address the issue or accommodate our needs.Needless to say, we left the restaurant feeling deeply disappointed with the way we were treated. It was disheartening to have such a significant occasion marred by subpar service, unappetizing food, and an overall lack of resolution from the restaurant's staff.

Creo que si cambiaran la cocina podrían ser de los mejores restaurantes de Barcelona, puesto que la ubicación y el espacio lo tienen.Recomendable para ir una vez, por un momento especial, probablemente no para repetir, al menos nosotros no lo haríamos, esperábamos MUY más de la comida 🙌🏻

Angelica Ramirez: needed seasoning. The food was over all flavorless and bland. However the worst part of the dinner was the scamming and cheating. The dinner cost 173 euros. We divided into 3- 57-58 each person. We used a card to cover 2/3 of the bill and used 100 euros for the remaining 57 euros. We received 4.20 euros back after I said hey we gave you a 100 this isn’t the correct change. The waiter said we were right and apologized and said he would come back with our correct change. Fast forward, a different waiter comes back to let us know we only gave a 50 euro (this would not even have covered our bill and I knew it was impossible because I specifically told the waiter to take the remainder from the 100 euro -which is a different color.
