PAT Vancouver: This shop got some bad reviews but my experience with the staff was nothing but positive. Arrived in Barcelona on Sunday morning, to find out Vodafone airport system was down and center in city center was closed till Sunday. So glad to find The Phone Shop. The lady at the shop was professional and super helpful. I ended up brought more than a sim card from the shop as their prices are also reasonable. So 5 stars and I would definitely recommend this shop if you need to get a sim card and any phone related accessories ✨️

bill hyde: Bought 2 pre paid movistar sims advertised as 30gb for 30 days for 30E. They stopped functioning after 28 days (4 weeks), movistar policy... BE CAREFUL AND DOUBLE CHECK. Its possible the sales clerk Keith did not know, or didn't care. If I had known otherwise I'd purchase them staggered by 2 days.

Rodrigo Vidales: I had the same experience as a comment below: went in for a 10€ SIM card and the self help screen by the entrance was turned off, so we asked someone for help. One of their staff, Antony, told us they only had the 30€ ones and that they could only accept cash payments. After getting the SIM card he took the cash, said we were all set and didn't provide a receipt or anything. The whole thing was pretty sketchy. Won't be coming back to this store.

Raad El-Alawi: The staff may be friendly and speak English but that doesn't stop them from trying to take advantage by selling you things you don't need. I stopped in to buy a 10 euro sim only to be told that they only sell the 30 euro one. Now if this was a small shop in a small village, I'd let that go - but I don't accept this from a mid sized shop in the tourism centre of a large city. I think Vodafone need to inspect the operation and management of this and all their shops in high tourist areas in Barcelona. I know I will not be returning here or any vodafone shop on my next visit or in my own city.

Gisella Candi: DO NOT SHOP HERE!! This store is a complete SCAM! The employees trick you by being so nice to you and offering you discounts…when all they are actually doing is ripping off the innocent. I bought a €40 SIM card from them and it was a complete scam and never worked. Their phone cases are also low quality and not worth it.

Essam Alfassam: terrible store! Very bad and strange service! The Indian employee with beard he ask to take my phone by his hand to find a case and I told him I'll look by my self ! And he get very angry and ask me to leave the store!!! And they will not sell me anything!!! I don't recommend at all there are many store with better services.

JA ChS: This woman sold me a SIM card, only cash accepted, no receipt, without alerting me card might not work on my device. After installing and attempting to connect, my iPhone flashed “SIM card not authorized” on the screen. I went back to the store 10 minutes after purchase to see what was the issue, the woman immediately said the phone was locked and it was not her or Vodafone’s problem and card/money could not be returned. Very condescending and obnoxious attitude, I am so sorry to say.

Evan Smyth: Worst customer service ever experienced. I did not expect that from a big company like vodafone. Staff unprofessional and unhygienic. Ing Mat: The service is sweet and attentive until you sign the contract. Then Mr. Hyde comes out and this period doesn't end as long as you're in! In the long period I'm trapped through not one, but two contracts - because I was wrong informed twice (can some other phone company top that?). The service on site is nice and some speak English. However not able to solve issues after contract is done. So I experienced the so called customer service via phone and chat and I tell you: call, write? Yes, you can. But don't worry about help, there isn't any. You can get answer of course, but I save your time, I tell you the ultimate answer: It's your fault, so you have to pay for everything! Ppl, get yourself another provider if you can. If you're trapped like me, well.. Sour? Buy dill with it!

Angelo Vassallo: Worst service ever! They promise you a rate. You get out from the shop and receive a message from Vodafone with a different rate. Ask for information to the call center who invites you to go back to the shop. They promise you that you will get your original rate and after one month from the bill you realize that you are charged more. Their reply: “It is only 6€ more per month. It is not a big deal”. Mia Koch: Don't ever go there! They sold me fake stamps which I only found out when I was at the post office. I wasted 20€ in that trashy store and when I went back there they told me the people at the post office were wrong even though they tried to scan the stamps several times and looked it up and everything. No recommendation, as I said don't ever go there!

Erin Rowe: The service and attitude from most of the people who work here is very poor. I had one good experience when I first signed up, which was obviously a facade just to steal my money. There are so many fine print details that were never explained, a discount I never received and now my bills are getting higher and higher every month. When I try to resolve it, I get rude, condescending conversations. The customer service team needs a serious overhaul and a lesson on empathy.

Kristin steinarsdottir: Horrible experience. As a new costumer I was literally scammed by the salesperson Jenny. I order full service of internet and phone and wanted to get the new iPhone 13 pro but it was out of stock, me and my friend asked if could ad another phone ? (iPhone13 mini)for him also on the contract the payments are spread on 2 years. As I’m awaiting the phone to be back in stock Jenny calls my friend and does not contact me as the customer and says I have not enough credit to get my phone and i personally asked her to communicate with me and not my friend and how we could continue to resolve the problem and I waited a week for reply but she never responded. Now three months later I give it another try with another sales person “E” that was giving satisfying service. “E” confirmed that becaus of the iPhone mini for my friend on my contract is now impossible for me to get my phone. So in the end I have no new phone and this has not been resolved!

Julian Monti: I had few issues with Orange, impossible to solve by phone. I came here and solved all of them thanks to the support of Cathy. She is a real professional! I saw her spending an hour of time for explaining how a smartphone works to an old lady. She was kind and smiling all the time. Really admirable! She solved my issues with Orange just with a pair of calls. The best service one may expect.

Aaron: I went for a eSIM and they told me they didnt have stock because of a logistics problem, "we have been waiting for them for almost 6 months, and I dont think we will ever have it". However, it looks like they had the latest phones in the store..... I went to another store and they solved it in 2 min, and told me vodafone ships eSIM on a daily basis. The way I see it, those guys just want to sell and don't care at all about customer experience, "if you don't want to buy from me, then I'm not going to help you."

Hulizolushka: The service is unbelievably slow. You have to wait at least half an hour because usually they have maximum two workers in shop, and they are absolutely not interested in working fast. I can’t reply the comment so I will do it here. The problem is that your employees are extremely slow and lazy, so cita previa doesn’t make any sense.

Wojty G: Ridiculous waiting times. I had to come twice to get a SIM card with a contract which is just outrageous in covid times. The staff on the other hand is very helpful and does whatever they can to improve the poor experience which is the result of terrible service the company provides. I can’t reply to the comment to I’d like to respond here. The problem is not having or not having the cita, but the fact that starting a contract and receiving an e-sim requires me to go to a shop 3 times. Despite of the fact that a Spanish iban is required which is an obvious discrimination and is against the SEPA agreement.

Scott Mackay: this is usually a very busy store and service can take some time. customer service isnt great but if you are patient, you will get what you came for.. there are much better vodaphone stores in barcelona for english speakers. i have only visited here once and decided to try other outlets. that view hasn't changed

This store gave me a promotion of €35/mth but then when I came back a few months later since they were actually charging me €70/mth, they had no recollection of this promotion. I have an ongoing case with them that has not been solved for 4 months. It’s ridiculous and I do NOT recommend Vodafone. Save yourself time and money.

Mark Jewell: Well, joining the ranks of one stars for this joint. Walked in and it wasn’t busy, but my partner and I must have become invisible. One staff person was occupied with a customer,but another sullen male was buried in a computer, avoided eye contact and couldn’t even offer a hola. After a few minutes of being studiously ignored, walked down the block to Orange and received exactly the opposite treatment. Friendly hola on entering and a lovely staffer named Fatima solved my problem in less time than I stood waiting at Vodafone (and doubled my data allowance as a bonus).
