Tara Hassler: My friend and I visited this shop to get our first tattoo, and we couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. Not only was the place beautiful and clean, but also our tattoo artist - and the entire staff - was lovely and reassuring. The tattoos turned out great and exactly as we wanted them to be. The artist allowed us both in the tattoo room, so that we could chat and relax during the session. We would absolutely recommend this shop for anyone wanting to get a tattoo in Barcelona (even as a last minute thing) !!

Morgan Griffith: Decided to get a tattoo on a whim while in Spain. Had one day to get one before flying out, the staff at Meatshop were very accommodating and easy to stay in touch with while we were traveling with limited service. Pepo adjusted the design and was also very easy to work with. My tattoo turned out great, thanks cactus what I wanted. A great gift to commemorate our honeymoon in Spain. Next time I visit Spain, I plan on getting another tattoo at their shop!

Everyone at Meatshop was so nice and welcoming to us. Angela did my tattoo and she has this energy that’s so contagious, super funny and professional. My tattoo came out amazing. She was comforting to both me, who had previous tattoos but it had been awhile and my friend whose tattoo was her first. Berta Devant: Great place :) the people are more than nice and accommodating. I contacted them via email to discuss the idea I had and they asked me to come by the shop one day and talk about it in person. I was able to explain my design idea and they gave me pointers on how the ink would dry in my finger and what to expect. Which I was not expecting but totally blown away. I loved being able to know all those details before doing the tattoo. On the day of the appointment we were discussing my idea again and reasoning and he gave me some really good advice about it, by hand draw Anne idea that was similar yet much better and we went back and do or ward into we found the perfect design. I love it :D super attentive and knowledgeable and oí love that I was able to discuss designs with him.
Olivia DeSalvo: this place deserves 10+ stars. I walked in with an idea of what I wanted & Rion was great about listening to me & designing something beautiful. Such a friendly staff & environment and will definitely be returning. :)

Joana Ferreira: Went there twice. I am a recent tattoo apprentice and i do buy my own material based on what my mentor says. I got there this second time and they refused to sell me some materials unless i gave the name of the tattoo shop i was in and they wanted called to ask for something - or I’d habe to buy extra stuff... Also the price of the inks online are wrong since i paid 4€ more than expected. I’ll try to avoid buying here again. Besides that, well located and cool shop.
Response: Hello Joana, in regards to the price of the inks just confirm that it is the same in the online store and in the physical store, surely you saw the price before including the taxes. Regarding the request for the name, it is probably for the issuance of the invoice, it is mandatory that some materials, such as individual needles, document their sale as it is necessary for the health system. Sorry if you felt uncomfortable but it is the usual procedure, we should not do it in another way or us or any other store of material for tattoo artists.

T N.: I had the best experience. I came as a walk-in and had no appointment to get a lower helix piercing by Aradia! She was simply amazing. I was a little scared but she took every fear away with her calming personality. She gave me advice on where to not pierce my ear and explained well why. After going back to Germany I needed to get a MRI Scan so I asked her to send me the material information. They work with titanium implant grade only so I did not have any struggle and could leave my piercing in. She was helpful and kind even AFTER my visit. I had an appointment booked with Andres, it was so easy to get booked in and there was absolutely zero problems along the way with the booking. When I arrived the studio staff were friendly and everyone was pleasant. Andres was such a pleasure to deal with, the design was beautiful that he created for me and he included me on the little details although I was happy to let him take the lead and do whatever he liked. He made me feel really comfortable and the studio was beautiful. I will definitely comeback to this studio an specifically for more work from Andres when I’m in Barcelona next and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this studio to anyone! Justin Schuler: Hands down the best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. I wanted to get a tattoo while on vacation in Barcelona, so I took a solo day trip to Black Ship Tattoo. I’ve been following them on instagram for awhile and was super excited to get inked by them. My Spanish is fairly limited so I was a little worried, but the lady that greeted me at the door spoke perfect English. This place was extremely clean and very accommodating. Ingridi did an amazing job on my tattoo. Her line work is beautiful! I couldn’t be happier. If you’re in Barcelona and want some work done, go here, you won’t regret it. He made a picture of the tattoo that I could bring home to decide exactly where I wanted it, before I went back the day after and decided to do it. Guliana Signorelli: i made an appointment with this shop a week ahead of time for 12pm on a wednesday and the manager confirmed the appointment with me the day before:. my friend and i arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and the shop was still locked. at 12:15 the artist who was doing my tattoo approached me and said that their manager was running late but didn’t know when they were going to show up to unlock the shop… fast forward to 1:15pm i finally got into the shop.. i was also never made aware that the shop doesn’t take credit cards so that was also annoying to not be made aware ahead of time. the wait was ridiculous especially because we were on vacation so this cut into our time especially when i had a confirmed appointment. i love my tattoo, the shop was clean and artists were great, but the ambiguous wait was totally unacceptable Service: Tattoos

Nik: I was visiting Europe and wanted to get my first tattoo. After spending countless hours trying to find a studio and artist, I stumbled upon Oxytocina studio and Bonnie. I dealt with Michelle trying to book my tattoo, and Michelle was phenomenal and patient. Answered my many questions about getting a tattoo, sizes, placement, colours etc. She’s really an amazing and professional person, and really gave instilled a lot of confidence in me and I proceeded to book. I then met Bonnie when I arrived at the studio in Barcelona. Bonnie is amazing, she has an awesome personality and really a genuine person. She had come up with a modified design from the one that I had come up with and it was much better than the one I had wanted. The detail, design and colour scheme were beautiful. Her artistic ability and attention to detail is truly amazing. I would highly recommend Oxytocina and Bonnie to anyone. They’re a great group of people and really professional. Next time I visit Barcelona I would love to get another tattoo from Bonnie.
