Mark Nicholas: Could not find a more photogenic location to stay. Street and rooftop views worth the stay alone. Rooms and staff great. Drinking and eating on the rooftop bar with the views was superb.Walkability: Great access to the Gothic quarter.
John D'Amato: We were greeted warmly upon check in and offered complimentary Cava sparkling wine after traveling from Madrid. Our room was spacious and the rain shower was nice. The hotel is in a good location, we walked everywhere, mostly. You will need taxis to get to some of the major tourist attractions for sure such as Sagrada Familia church and more. Breakfast was good I just wish the servers were a bit more friendly. They need to smile more. The best part of this hotel is the rooftop pool! The view from up there was pretty nice. You can see the water and the cruise ships too. You can walk to the water from this hotel in about 20 minutes.

This hotel is a jewel in Barcelona, staff are friendly, helpful and efficient and really care about customers.Rooftop terrasse is amazing at night with great drinks.But the location remains the best asset for this hotel by far with proximity to everything from shopping to restaurants to the cultural landmarks...

Welsh Tucker: H10 is in a great location and the room was spacious/amenities are nice. Our issue was with the AC. I understand that air conditioning is a luxury in many European countries but if we are paying for it in the nightly rate it should be working. We noticed when we first got there that the room was very warm especially given the summer heat. The front lobby was nice and cool and then the room was warm. We contacted the front desk as soon as we realized it wasn’t working. At first, the front desk told us to “just wait 20 more mins or so” as they can remotely control the AC system. We waited for almost 30 mins in the hot room with no progress. We called again, they said they would send someone up, no one showed up for over an hour. We called again, finally someone came and said the filter was extremely dirty which is a concern for a 4 star hotel. Eventually, they seemed to partially fix the AC so we just decided to deal with it for our one night stay. However, I left fairly disappointed with our stay given that half of our time there was without AC/having to reach out 5-6 times for someone to fix it.

Ariadna Gutiérrez: Yesterday, my friends and I decided to come to h10 madison, because of the good reviews it had. After a long journey to find the destination, my friends and I entered, we asked to go up to the terrace and the receptionist looked at a colleague who told us that the terrace had been full just 5 minutes ago and that we could come, It was obviously an excuse, and my friends were judged by clothing appearances, and we had to leave. I do not recommend this place, it looks like a nightclub in the sense that you need dress requirements. And the treatment has been lousy. It's a shame they get such good reviews and then treat you like this. If you don't look like money, to the street!

This place is magnificent and surprisingly ranked low on bookings! The lower than expected rating is true and can be contributed to cheap management or owner! Instead of aiming for a Ritz Carlton level of service the management or owner are going for a 3 stars Holiday in, which is not to say bad but it’s a 3 or 4 stars and not inline with the magnificent building and price of a 5+hotel.Uncomfortable beds. Rob Zen: The hotel has to be renovated immeditaly. There are many broken things inside an outside of the hotel. After 12 years it looks not very good.In the rooms many things are old, dirty and damaged. The Diner was also not good. We paid 35,- for the most expensive meal on the card and you can't really eat it. It was cold and the beans wouldn't cooked properly. The breakfast was also only international and selection very small. Thats not the standard for an 5 Stars Hotel.The only positive thing is the location of the hotel. You are in the City and the view is really nice. The garden an the pool are also very nice. Ya habíamos probado esta cadena de hoteles en Málaga pero nos decepcionó muchísimo!!El hotel es muy antiguo, necesita una reforma importante.El desayuno no se sirve con regularidad... Leanne Dobrowolski: Me alojé aquí de vacaciones y no me puedo quejar de la ubicación, ya que era ideal para caminar hasta el puerto deportivo y recorrer las partes principales de Barcelona. El autobús turístico en realidad se detiene en la parada de autobús exterior, lo que también es útil si eres un turista y estás cansado después de un largo día. Esto también es útil porque puede comprar un boleto en la parada y simplemente llegar a su destino.El personal de recepción, en el bar y durante el desayuno siempre fue muy educado y servicial, y de la manera que esperaría en cualquier hotel de cinco estrellas. Fueron geniales 👌 El desayuno en sí era encantador y había mucha variedad, lo cual es genial para cualquier persona que necesite opciones de alimentos particulares. La azotea era agradable para relajarse con un bar para mayor comodidad y una pequeña piscina que estaba bien.Mi culpa realmente fue con las habitaciones y la limpieza y la falta de artículos que se completaron con el servicio de limpieza. No tomamos té durante un par de días y cuando tomamos té, no teníamos leche. Las toallas estaban limpias, pero los pisos no se limpiaron muy bien y podrían haberse limpiado más a fondo. Las habitaciones son grandes pero esta viejuno. Muebles con manchas. Suciedad en las habitaciones. No aspiran no friegan los suelos. Las toallas viejas. Los vestuarios del gimnasio el de mujeres sin puerta, las duchas no se pueden usar. Te tienes que ir al de hombres. En fin no es cinco estrellas. Habitacion enfrente de cuarto de limpieza con ruidos constantes. El wc sonaba.

A. Michael Stevens: The hotel’s location was ideal preceding a cruise, but is nicely located regardless. My room was very spacious, but showing signs of age. It was nice to have a balcony. The sofa in the room was dilapidated. The tub was converted from a jacuzzi and no longer had operating jets. The multifunction shower was nice though the small jets were clogged. The breakfast buffet was very nice and service was excellent. Front desk staff were professional and efficient.

Erik Barna: I recently had the opportunity to experience the Eurostar Grand Marina Hotel, situated in the heart of Barcelona, Spain. Though the hotel was brimming with potential, the actual experience was tainted with a few shortcomings, mainly attributed in my opinion, to management issues.Firstly, let's discuss cleanliness - an aspect paramount for any hospitality service. The hotel's cleanliness standard had room for improvement. Not that it was terrible, but for an establishment claiming to offer 5-star services, it was definitely subpar.Service is another critical aspect where the hotel faltered. It seems to be a manifestation of poor management rather than the fault of the diligent staff. The employees were genuinely helpful and interested in assisting the guests, yet they seemed stretched too thin. A couple of instances that stood out included the delayed delivery of luggage to our room, which arrived only after repeated calls and a thirty-minute wait. Dining at 'The Corner' restaurant was another experience that could have been improved, as the lone waiter struggled to cater to all the customers. Waiting for the menu, and then the meal, tested our patience. Similar scenes repeated at breakfast, with the rush leading to inevitable queues.Despite these shortcomings, the hotel does shine in certain areas. Its location is a winner - a fairly central area with most of the city's attractions within a walking or short driving distance. However, be prepared for some noise from the nearby port where ferryboats dock frequently. Though it was not bothersome for me, thanks to the sound insulation, some guests, especially with balconies overlooking the port, might find it annoying. Plus, large ships docking nearby can block the view and affect privacy.The hotel's interior design reveals that its prime years might be behind it. There's a charm to it, but it also exhibits a need for a facelift. If properly managed and refreshed, this hotel could truly live up to the 5-star standard it aspires to meet.Summing it up, my stay at the Eurostar Grand Marina Hotel was not a bad one, but it wasn't exceptionally comfortable either. I appreciate the staff, the hotel's cuisine, and the central location. However, management needs to address the issues to truly unlock the hotel's potential and deliver the 5-star experience it promises. For now, it feels like a diamond in the rough - sparkling yet, not polished.

Room woods is about to fell on you, room service is disaster, you can break your legs on balcony and that stone parts, 3 man big rooms most expensive have sofa for 3rd person and cannot sleep at all on that, TV's not working most of them, they have no parking at all, there is a public underground parking and isnt connected to hotel. That pool is like 5 x 4 m. When you open or closing doors everyone around you will wake up... rly rly dissapointed for 550 euros one night room!!!

Leanne Dobrowolski: I stayed here on vacation and I cannot fault the location as it was ideal to walk to the marina and through the main parts of Barcelona. The hop on hop of bus actually stops at the bus stop outside also which is helpful if you’re a tourist and tired after a long day out. This is also helpful that you can buy a ticket at the stop and just get on to your destination.The staff in reception, in the bar and during breakfast were always very polite and helpful and the way I would expect at any five star hotel. They were brilliant 👌 The breakfast itself was lovely and there was a lot of choice which is great for anyone that may need particular food choices. The roof top was nice to chill out on with a bar for convenience and a small swimming pool which was ok.My fault really was with the rooms and the cleanliness and lack of items being topped up by house keeping. We didn’t have any tea for a couple of days and when we got tea then we didn’t have milk. The towels were clean but the floors were not cleaned very well and could have been cleaned more thoroughly. These are small errors and while we enjoyed our stay, we just expect it to be a bit better with the rooms, cleanliness and services in them.Another helpful tip might be to add a folder with information. There was a QR code with hotel services but it might be helpful to have general info about the area. I have had this with previous hotels and it’s really helpful when you don’t know the area.
Patricia cuena casas: I chose it because I went almost when it was just released. And it was wonderful. Now it is not even remotely what it was. The price is not what they offer. The rooms are big but it is old. Stained furniture. Dirt in the rooms. They do not vacuum, they do not scrub the floors. The old towels. The women's gym locker room without a door, the showers cannot be used. You have to go to the men's. In short, it is not five stars. Room in front of cleaning room with constant noise. The toilet blew.

No corresponde en absoluto a 5 estrellas para el estado actual, habitaciones muy gastadas, TV rota, iluminación parcialmente dañada, pero en realidad era un buen hotel. Christoffer B: Booked this hotel without knowing the area and boy am I happy i chose this one. Its next to one of the main streets so really easy to access by walking or taxi. Rooms were good, a bit old but not a problem. The view was not so good, straight into a wall but hey, I got a bathtub so I'm happy. Its located in the middle of El Born and the Gothic District so perfectly placed when it comes to food, drinks and nightlife.

Caroline Fawzy: I loved this hotel! Our room was large, modern and the air conditioner worked perfectly. Our room had a large walk in shower in the quite large bathroom. The concierge downstairs was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The hotel and the room was beautiful and kept very very clean.It was in a perfect area as well - in the gothic quarter. It was walking distance to the beach as well as numerous bars and restaurants. Great for exploring by foot but if you prefer to take taxis they also come by very frequently so you can very easily flag one down.We stayed here our first time to Barcelona in July of 2022 and were so glad we chose this hotel!! While you can definitely find cheaper hotels in Barcelona this hotel is definitely is worth the money.

Hotel Colonial Barcelona has comfortable rooms and an attentive staff.Located in the Gothic Quarter there is a lot to eat, see and do within walking distance including the Cathedral of Barcelona.If you are taking a cruise, the cruise ship terminal is a short taxi ride away.

Cuando lo reservamos, solo quedaban unas pocas habitaciones porque estábamos en el último minuto y casi cancelamos nuestra reserva por temor a tener otra mala experiencia. Sin embargo, Antoine y Alfredo en el escritorio fueron muy serviciales, nos mostraron cada habitación que estaba disponible y se aseguraron de que estuviéramos cómodos y de que nuestras necesidades fueran satisfechas. At the end of our stay, they were very kind and left a handwritten letter and some gifts for us in the room, which made our stay even more perfect. Celia Huergo: We arrived at the Hotel at 12:00 PM and the room was logically not yet available, but when we returned at 11:00 PM they sent us to one without air conditioning. They knew that the AC was not working, my daughters were suffocating from the heat. I do not recommend this hotel, there are even cockroaches. We had to go to another hotel at almost 1:00 AM. They don't care how customers feel. No one called us the next day to apologize. I recommend the Meliá Barcelona Inside Apolo, it's much better and it was cheaper.

The hotel offers breakfast, and other incredible amenities like loan bicycles for all guests to enjoy.Centrally located to access attractions by walking distances, or quick means of transportation.Rooms are clean modern and spaciously designed while maintaining a cozy personal feeling. Small elevators but easy access.Rooms: Modern clean with art decorations that make it feel more in home an less in a hotel.Nearby activities: Great restaurants right outside the hotel, local stores, souvenir, clothing boutiques, etc.Safety: While in Barcelona be mindful of your surroundings.Walkability: Walk accessible to all main attractions.Food & drinks: Hotel has a nice restaurant area with outstanding breakfast buffet.Noteworthy details: You may have to walk a super short distance from the main street of la rambla to the hotel entrance.

The front desk helped as much as they could.The room was way too hot. The air didn't do much to make the room comfortable. The front desk did bring a fan that made the night bearable but not enjoyable.Would not recommend.

Definitiv nicht weiter zu empfehlen.Bei der Abreise hatten wir 3 Hemden im Schrank vergessen. Auf Nachfrage,ob man uns die Hemden nachsenden könnte, hieß es das keine Hemden im Schrank gewesen wären.. Natürlich hätten wir die Kosten für Post und Aufwand auf uns genommen..

Manjusri Basu: This hotel has elegant architecture, a great location and so much character. It is a great pity that rooms are poor in terms of comfort and that service is so iffy. Service in the breakfast room and restaurant is really great. Front desk suffers from either inefficiency or indifference. Air conditioning in some rooms is poor to non-existent. We slept in three different beds, because of air con issues. All the mattresses were lumpy and old. Furniture is of cheap quality. Storage space is inadequate. Our second booking was cancelled despite our telling all the front desk staff on three different occasions on three days that we would be checking in the morning after. Alexis and Natalia were the only two people at front desk who tried to help us. Does not deserve the four stars after its name.
Carmen Hernández: I love this chain of hotels because the room and the breakfast are very good. In this specifically I found a room that needed a couple of fixes but nothing serious, we were able to enjoy their services well. The only thing that personally, when I chose it in the La Rambla area, I felt quite insecure when I returned at night since it feels a very heavy atmosphere and you see a lot of homeless people in the streets. Although the town hall keeps it clean daily because of the dirt left by homeless people. I know this is a bit off topic but this chain of hotels is great but this location in person made me feel unsafe.

He said no, look how many people are waiting for their rooms and we haven’t even started on yours. They obviously don’t have the housekeeping staff they need to run this hotel. I think they had more guests waiting in the lobby for their room than they had guests check in.I’m paying$400+/night. You can afford to hire cleaning staff!UPDATE: I’m checked in. The room is toasty hot. Ok. Turn on the AC and wait. We waited 2 hours and the temp went down a degree or 2. I called reception. Could they please send someone to fix the AC.Sir, this is a problem with the whole building and we don’t know if it can be fixed.It wasn’t fixed. My partner and I are here at 2 am sweating in Barcelona heat and the windows won’t open.See the review below about the AC before. They said it was fixed - they said. No.It’s not. Katja Pianka: The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nice. The service is wonderful. They overcharged me twice for my dry cleaning and it was difficult to get a hold of someone to discuss, but whatever. The wifi is not good though, so if you need that-you may need another option. It kicks you off every couple minutes and is very spotty, so my phone bill is always nuts when I travel to Europe and stay here. 😄

Harriet Sneddon: 6 of us went to the wet deck for a day 11am-5pm. The minimum spend was about £1100. The surroundings are lovely and the cabanas were great. The service was lacking. A few mistakes with orders were made and they were not that attentive, we often had to go to the bar to get someone to come over. It was all forgivable but at the end of the day we went to the front of the hotel to ask for a taxi, the hotel bell boy told us he could only get taxis for hotel guests. The bar and door men had told us to go to him for a taxi. When I said we were hotel guests as we had just spent the whole day there, he said management had given him the instructions to only order taxis for overnight guests. He then proceeded to show me his tan marks to say he has spent all day outside and he is just following orders but that he won’t help, and if we wanted a taxi we need to walk down the street. All in all not a great experience.

Service from start to finish was excellent and the breakfast offers diverse and plentiful food. Perfect location for exploring many of the highlights of Barcelona on foot as it is only a 15-minute walk to Placa de Catalunya and La Sagrada Familia, and if you need to cool off on a hot day then you must visit the pool and bar on the top floor.

The only response to this was to 'test' the food and check if we want a doctor.Breakfast is honestly disappointing. In such a city such Barcelona, one would expect a better selection and choices. Maya Charlton: Stayed here with my teen daughter for 5 nights. First time in Barcelona and had no idea how well located and convenient this hotel was. Room was immaculate, quiet, great A/C, wonderful shower, super comfortable bed. We didn’t purchase the breakfast but many mornings sat downstairs for coffee and croissant or their wonderful sandwiches. Staff was very helpful especially in check out, letting us store luggage for no fee and then booking our taxi to the airport. Highly recommend.

Let me start by saying that the location is convenient and safe, located just a 5 minute walk from Casa Milà. We had a wonderful stay at a room with a balcony overlooking a street that feels like an oasis in bustling Barcelona. The decor is ascetic and minimal, featuring tasteful interior design objects, such as scone lamps. I especially enjoyed the mix of colorful and classic subway tiles adorning the bathroom walls. The room is a little small, leaving almost no space for storage but generous area for shower and a king size bed. By the way, you should also know that the bed is on wheels which is a little strange. Moreover, I really enjoyed the selection of skincare and hair products offered - the eucalyptus scent is incredibly refreshing. On the downside, the amenities offered at the hotel are limited. However, having a bakery right downstairs is everything you can ever ask for when craving fresh pastries for breakfast. Overall, if you are looking for a three-four night stay and don’t want to spend a fortune, then Praktik Bakery can be perfect for you.

Ben Lake: Great location and walking distance to several tourist attractions and the metro. Small rooms and not cheap, but very clean, comfortable and quiet. We arrived six hours ahead of check-in because of our flight but the reception staff were able to hold our bags for free until check-in time while we explored nearby. The €15 breakfast was mostly breads, so we usually ended up just buying from the in-house bakery for more options. Overall a pleasant experience and we would stay again.

Having the bakery in the lobby made this already super sweet hotel even sweeter. Their breakfast had everything we needed/wanted to get us started each day. And on our departure day we were leaving too early to have their breakfast, but they sent us off with hot, fresh out of the oven croissants and coffee. I will definitely stay here again. Alle Zimmertüren fallen selbsttätig mit einem lauten Knall ins Schloss. Auf den Fluren unterhalten sich die Gäste. Alles nicht unüblich.... Aber: Da der Innenhof des Hotels überdacht ist und alle Hotelflure offen zu diesem Innenhof gerichtet sind, bekommt man das Türenknallen und die Gespräche aus allen Etagen mit. Fazit: Wenn man in Barcelona schlafen möchte, dann definitiv woanders. Ein Katastrophen-Hotel!!!Rooms: Straßenlärm und Geräusche aus dem Hotel dringen ungehindert ins Zimmer

James: The front desk was helpful and informative. Filtered water system for refills. Coffee and tea ready to grab. Views from the deck area are neat. Downside rooms run warm. Recommend asking for room on the upper floor for additional views from the balcony. The shower was great, might be the best feature. The hotel is located for the most part near activities, but be prepared to walk. I would recommend it to others but not sure if I would book again perhaps just a one time thing as a pass through. Overall a nice hotel with a polite front desk. Get a hotel tote bag, big plus.

Calli Cox: My husband and I stayed here recently and loved it! It’s just outside of the “touristy” spots of Barcelona, so we felt like we got to experience more of the local culture while still being in walking distance to everything major. It was quiet at night and the staff was super friendly. We also loved the plunge pool and sauna and used it to unwind after lots of walking exploring the city. Would definitely stay here again!
Forest Key: Super cute small hotel with very nice staff, clean and modern rooms with great beds, good breakfasts. Great walking distance to sites and parks and all the bustle but in a quieter less hectic neighborhood and better $ value.
Sophia Halloway: to the key sights but you can also explore off the beaten track too. Great value.

Luc Mortier: Correct 4 sterren hotel maar wij hadden kamer 212 aan de voorkant met balkon en uitzicht.Je ziet dat de kamers al 10 jaar oud schade aan meubels etc.Maar hetgeen dat zeer storend overkwam is het lawaai in de kamer komende van de drukke straten voor het hotel.De ramen van de kamer waren door de warmte uitgezet waardoor deze niet goed meer afsloten waardoor het lawaai in de kamer niet te harden was en we oorstoppen gaan kopen zijn.Omdat het hotel vol zat geen mogelijkheid tot ander kamer.De rooftop bar lag er altijd slordig bij ligkussen waren versleten en drankjes en eten werden niet tijdig afgeruimd.Wat wat wel top was was het ontbijt.

Amazing location- walking distance to Gothic Quartier, Aquarium, Ciutadella Parc, amazing tapas bar Perikete 2 minutes away on foot.The hotel is not too big, not too small, fantastic breakfast with free a la carte options, clean rooms with very nice treats- free water, espresso and small chocolates after cleaning everyday!Great staff at reception and breakfast- helpful, smiling. The people at breakfast and the girl who waited on us March 24th Friday night at the bar and room service were all very helpful. Cleaning service meticulous and very attentive. The whole team is discreet and polite.The only thing I would suggest the hotel looks into is the family rooms. They are basically 2 double rooms interconnected. But they have two doors, that cannot stay open. So in order to move from one room to the other, you have to constantly open and close 2 doors. It is a first world problem, but it is a tiny thing that would greatly enhance the experience and comfort of families.
Nati Two Navarro: Buenos días, hace un par de semanas tuve el placer de poder visitar la terraza del H10 Port Vell, no sé por dónde empezar para no dejarme nada ni a nadie.¡Todo empezó con Miriam, todo un amor! Una conocida y trabajadora del hotel, ella nos reservó un espacio precioso en la terraza para 9 chicas. NO teníamos pensado comer, simplemente tomar algo.Cogimos el ascensor y subimos a la terraza; es pequeñita limpia y acogedora. Nos atendió Patricia, que encanto de mujer! Atenta, servicial y con una sonrisa en todo momento.Nos recomendó algunos cocteles, y… menudos cocteles se marco Josema, alucinantes y preciosos. Eric nos sacó un picoteo para acompañar, y les pedimos si tenían alguna magdalena, bizcocho o algo para poder poner unas velas, nos sacaron unos trozos de tarta de chocolate para chuparse los dedos!!!! Y por supuesto, brindamos con Cava! ¡Solo nos faltó meternos en la piscina!, pero tenemos seguro que volveremos! Un saludo también a los 2 chicos de recepción, todo el personal que nos cruzamos tuvieron una sonrisa hacia nosotras. Un 10!! Para H10 Port VellPienso que todo lo bueno hay que dejarlo reflejado!! Os lo merecéis
