November in Barcelona: It's hard to talk about the low season in Barcelona, as there are tourists every day of the year, and those who come in November are generally attracted to the discounted accommodation, along with the chance to enjoy Barcelona's vibrant cultural life, one of the most intriguing in Europe.
All November: Barcelona Jazz Festival
The international jazz music festival in Barcelona continues, with at least one concert a day throughout the month of November, but often there are two.
We refer to the complete calendar on the official website, and we point out among the most interesting concerts:
- The Campbell Brothers (Tuesday 17 December, Barts): those who love the Gospel will not be disappointed!
- Tomatito - José Merce (Friday 29 November, Palau de la Musica): Recognized as one of the best flamenco guitarists around, Tomatito makes an appearance at the Barcelona Jazz Festival in the best scenario there is: the Palau de la Música Catalana, and with good reasons, given the enormous technical ability of the guitarist from Almería. For only € 18 you can take away the flamenco evening plus a visit to the Palau de la Música, certainly money well spent.
October 31 - November 3: Manga Barcelona
One of the main events for Mangaku in Spain, Manga Barcelona has reached its 25th edition. Last year there were 1.000.000 visitors throughout the event, and the number will likely repeat this year. The event will be held at Fira Barcelona Montjuïc, at the foot of Montjuïc, we refer you to the official program for more information.
Friday 22 November: Black Friday
The black Friday fashion has now made its grip among Spanish consumers and beyond: discounts of between 20 and 30% are provided in shopping malls, outlets and single-brand stores. This is a good opportunity to experience a day completely dedicated to shopping at sale prices, in view of Christmas shopping.
