Leong Wilbert: Very nicely plated breakfast brunch dishes with a good selection on the menu! Delicious food as well! We had a Eggs Benedict, Fruit Pancakes, Fried Crispy Chicken and A Toast! Hessah Mohammed: We have been there for a brunch, the place is small, the service is fast and the food was very delicious. So Friendly staff 👍🏻 We ordered Benedict egg without Bacon;was delicious, and I definitely recommend the beetroot bagel the flavors is amazing , the avocado toast with poached egg was also great. And we added Sweet pancakes for the kids. We took coffee, orange juice and hot chocolate for the kids.

Cristina Suciu: We found a nice place inside on Saturday at noon. The coffee and smoothie are delicious. The food was also heartwarming, fresh, warm and tasty. The service was fast and the people warm and welcoming. This was the perfect spot to stop for a brunch before visiting the Sagrada.

Em Jay: Delicious brunch with a Spanish twist. Food is delicious. Service is very good. They speak some English and are warm and inviting. The coffee is pretty good also. I recommend the plantains with guacamole and tomato salad plus I added an egg. Fresh, light but filling. Sooooo good. Husband had the pulled pork with cornblinis. More substantial and tasted great. He loved it. The duck tacos were nice but nothing surpassed the plantain dish for me. Please be there next time I return to Barcelona.

Chisco Valdés: Not only the bagels are extremely tasty and fresh but they are also affordable. The place is cozy it even have usb hub on the table to charge you devices. The bagels are made here and they’re one of a kind I had the cheese and my girlfriend the one with seeds both of them were delicious, with had them with their homemade fries and it was a blast. I definitely recommend this place the staff is super friendly. Best bagels so far.

Joel Douglas: Salmon with cream cheese, onions, capers, and some greens on an everything bagel: fantastic fresh bread with the right doughy texture, almost fluffy cream cheese and a generous portion of salmon--the capers and onions complemented it perfectly and were not overwhelming. Would definitely go back to try the others as there were a lot of appealing options...

Farkas Zalko: We just hopped by, the best idea we had!The bagels were delicious, we bought a menu which included the bagel, fries and a fizzy drink. The fries were crunchy and not oily! Cant wait to be back in Barcelona and come here again!

Bonjour Doni: Came here twice, first time was lovely the bagel is good and the service was kind. But in my second visit the guy who was taking order seems not in the mood of serving and was pretty rude towards me yet towards other customers he seemed like up to his task. My order was also somehow delayed for 25 mins as well despite people who came after me got their orders earlier than me and have even left . Quite disappointed treatment I would say, not sure if I could recommend this place.

Minesh Daya: One of the best breakfast we have been to! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Service was prompt and helpful. The teas were aromatic and presented well. Kids loved the smoothies. Kids agreed the pancakes were one of the best they ever had. The eggs benedict had to be one of the best I’ve ever had the greens were refreshing and seasoned perfectly! This breakfast bar is highly recommended especially if you wanna avoid the mundane continental hotel breakfast.

The place is located between many local streets and brought us to see a part of Barcelona we’d never seen before. Besides the location the granola was honestly the best granola I’ve tasted so far, and the coffee and croissants there were phenomenal! 100% would recommend!
Danny Riley: Wonderful bohemian style cafe with good vibes, happy waiting staff, calming music and oh yeah! the brunch is amazing. We had the salmon brunch. The bread alone was the best I’ve ever had. The mate tea was strange but so strong and very calming. Everything here is perfect. Whoever has voted this cafe less than 5 stars must have been in the wrong place and rated it by accident.
Clodagh Byrne: My favourite brunch place I have been to in Barcelona! Myself and my friends waited to get a table for around 15-20 minutes but I understand as it was a Sunday and they were very busy. Even though they were busy, the staff were really welcoming and fast paced with their service. This place does probably the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. I like the choice of two different potatoes on the side. I feel like it’s a lovely place for a gals brunch or somewhere to take your parents for breakfast. Iced latte was expensive, I think I paid nearly €5 for it, but it was very large so it’s no worries

They have the most talented chefs and staff working here. The server Manu is the kindest, most laidback and friendly person you will ever meet. He will never tell you no when it comes to modifying an order! Their menu is so thoughtfully put together, every recipe is a piece of art and their coffee and tea are out of this world. We went here every single day for the 5 days we stayed in Barcelona. If you want an epic food and over all experience, check this place out! ❤️
Hong Tran: This was nice cafe with such lovely and friendly staff! Food was amazing! I had the Eggs Benedict with added extra salmon. The potatoes and salad was lovely too. Lovely presentation. To top it off the Matcha Latte was great! Would definitely come again! There wasn’t a queue on a Saturday but we went around 11am. Dog friendly place. Total bill was around €28.55 for a cappuccino, Matcha Latte, eggs Benedict and the Croque monsieur. Thumbs up to this place :)

Wendy Law: Very very happy with this place! I was searching for a place for a good brunch and this came up. It’s across the street from the marina and they have a great menu. This avocado toast has avocado spread AND avocado on top. We also ordered salmon and it is so tasty. Also they had a large selection of matcha drinks. They didn’t add sugar so it’s healthy and natural.

Erin Berndt: A really delicious brunch spot! A super cute little place, in an older building and there’s stairs to go down inside so it’s not wheelchair friendly, but you can still outside. I brought my baby in a stroller which I carried down the stairs, but we decided to sit outside anyway. It’s a bit dark inside. The two outside tables are very near to the street, so it’s not an ideal outdoor dining experience but not bad either. I had a really delicious eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, and my son had an açai smoothie cup with some fruit. Both were really delicious! I’d come back just for the eggs Benedict. The staff were also very friendly and helpful as well, especially with accommodating the little kids and the stroller. Thanks very much!

Dandara Silva: This is a must in Barcelona. One of the best capuccinos I ever had. The staff is great, very polite and attentive. The food is delicious, prepared and served with care. Maomao Chen Larsson: It’s a nice brunch place just next to our intercontinental hotel so it’s very easy to get to eat there for breakfast if you want to skip the hotel breakfast. The club sandwiches are ok but the other egg Benedict was very nice. They open at 9 am so it fits our time perfectly too.

V H: We’re staying in Barcelona for a month, in an Airbnb in the same building as SEC Brunch. Just wow! I would say head here when the novelty of tapas, frittata, meatballs, croquetas and paella wears off… but you should skip the middle bit and just go there right now. We shared a plate of their delicious nachos (with avocado and mango and chilli… and just incredible). We also had a couple of coffees and a homebaked cooked. Service was great, staff all friendly, Cristina, Samuel, Pablo. Superb menu with Salmon eggs benny amongst other things. Very popular with the folks from the Hotel Intercontinental across the road too. Definitely going to return befoe we leave - obviosuly the clue is in the name, but we wish they were open for dinner. Nice surroundings, a candle on the table - could not go wrong.

Kevin Mc Guire: I went here with my venezuelan mother in law, (as she wanted either a venezuelan arepa or an empenada once we had come from mass) the place had two customers. One staff member was good and gave us what we wanted to eat an empenada they only had ham and cheese and we were ok with that. This was not on the menu but was advertised. However the manager/owner told us that you do not eat empanadas with any salsa, (which we had asked for) I taught this was over the top as it was more just a one line statement. I looked to me as if it was a lot of effort for them to make the empanadas for us even though the place was quite and two staff members was doing nothing. The rude manager/owner needs to learn how to deal with customers, or at least remove any signed that they serve empanadas or arepas. Please also be advised the coffee is not that good and there is little difference in being served a cappuccino or cafe con leche and is quite bitter.

Lomer: AMAZING! Now I won’t lie, there is a huge wait, BUT for a reason! Why else would people wait 15 minutes for brunch? It was all worth it and more. The team are friendly and are working as quick as possible. It’s a favourite for everybody. Coffee amazing. Food amazing. Tip: order everything you want together so you don’t wait. We ordered our savoury and our sweet with our drinks, it all came together and we ate our food in peace with no disruption. WORTH EVERY MINUTE AND PENNY. GO AND ENJOY!!

Ok the service was fast, I got my waffles and I was badly surprised by it. As you can see in the picture they put maybe less then two tiny spoons of nutella in corner and they called it waffles with nutella ! So i called one of the works he has a blond hair and I told him that normally waffles with chocolat should have more chocolat he said we do it like that but if someone needs more we will add, I said no in the normal why it should have more chocolate we don t need to ask, you know what he said!! He said: there is a difference between waffles with nutella and waffles made with nutella!! I was surprised by his answer it was so rude, I said ok then he said want you want me to do ? I said nothing. Honestly I don t want anything from someone with such a behave with his customers. So to that man who has the blond hair you need some training about the way you behave when a customer made a reclaim. To give every one his rights, there is an other worker he has dark hair, when I was going to pay he asked me how was my cafe, I told him the story and he apologised for so many times even though it was not his fault and he just start his shift, so man with blond hair learn from you coworker 👌anyway about the place is nice, I loved the decorations so original. I don t know if i will go there again or no honestly, i was disappointed and felt so bad unfortunately.

The espresso was good, sandwiches were overpriced and the salmon on the bagel was marinated in SO much salt it was inedible. The dessert was exceptional! And the spicy potatoes were delicious!!

Julia M: Had the worst waiter experience of my life. The guy attending us (man with blonde hair) was very passive aggressive, although we only wanted to make a normal order. I asked for simple requests about the gluten free dish (sauce separate). He made it clear that I was not welcome in an American brunch place because of my gluten intolerance…and changes to the orders were not accepted because the “management” would complain if they saw dishes that looked different than they should be….that’s kind of illogical for customer service?! But well, we were six people and everyone at the table said that they will never come back again, mainly because of the treatment and a bit for the inflexibility with food. At least the second waiter made the last part of our visit a lot nicer by being very friendly and calm. Seems like a pattern after reading other reviews…just saying The food was alright, the coffee was normal. Kind of expected a a little more for the good google rating.

Kristjana Nikolls: Gorgeous brunch spot! I ordered take away for the Salomon and mushroom bagel and 2 coffees. Coffees were ok, nothing special and quite mediocre but the bagels were delicious! The staff were super nice and served me straight away first thing in the early morning. Service was also super quick. There is nice seating inside and outside. Overall on the more expensive side. 2 bagels and 2 coffees was €18

Jonwood Group Ltd: Poor excuse of an English breakfast. The waiting staff were friendly enough but that does not make up for the monstrosity that they brought out in the name of English breakfast. Maybe the other breakfasts are better but the English breakfast is a definitive NO! I doubt I will be going back to try anything else on the menu after that horrific experience that has left a very bitter taste in my mouth

sj catubay: Very memorable experience. The Filipino staffs are great. They make you feel comfortable and at home. Very good choice to stay and eat in Barcelona.
hannah maloney: We had the brunch here and was expecting it to be great. The reviews, website and pictures made it sound worth the price. However we were very disappointed. Half of the food promised on the website was not there. We asked if they were going to refill the empty trays and baskets, but nothing. A Bloody Mary station is advertised...it took over half an hour for our bloody Mary’s to arrive. The food was basic at best. The eggs Benedict arrived without sauce and on half a burger bun. If this had been a free breakfast buffet at a 2 star hotel I may understand, but for the price they are charging -29€ it is a complete rip off. We actually had it booked through the fork at a price of 20€ and this is still far too much to pay. It really was not very good.

Rosa Fernández: Restaurant inside the Catalonia Barcelona hotel where we enjoyed a very good open buffet brunch. The hotel is much more than what is expected from the outside and the same goes for the restaurant. It is a pleasant space and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable, the service is very attentive but without being intrusive. The brunch consists of pastries, fruit, yoghurts, cakes,... even sausages, nuts, stews, mussels... Everything is quite good and they replenish it. The brunch is completed with the à la carte choice of main dishes, such as Benedictine eggs, quinoa risotto with boletus or a complete hamburger. The main ones can be repeated as many times as you want. Drinks. It only includes water and juices and a welcome drink. It does not have a wine list with affordable prices. Really good experience, to repeat!

Irina: A wonderful place! Very nice interior, but there is a terrace at the back as well. A big plus is the playroom for kids. The food was delicious and beautifully presented (we had smoothies, a bowl with yoghurt and fruit, wraps and eggs Benedict). The service was the best, so much attention. A wonderful experience. Absolutely recommend.
