Simo Alami: I’m not going to lie, the quality of the their food was good! We were a group of 4 friends, we shared the beef empanadas and cheese empanadas which are a must try! We then ordered each our meats 2 Picanha, 1 entrecôte of 400g and 1 spare ribs. The portions were correct but could’ve been a bit more generous with regards to the price we paid, with the exception of the ribs (those were massive). I ordered my Picanha medium rare but the one they brought me was medium well, after trying it and realizing the cooking point wasn’t what I asked for they replaced it no questions asked which I appreciated. To sum it up, I would have given them a 5 star review if the rating was purely based on the food but since we have to take all the other factors into consideration, I’m only giving this place 4 stars because the place was obnoxiously loud with music, at times we had to stop our conversations until the music was lowered again because we couldn’t hear each other anymore. Staff is super pleasant! A bit pricey in my opinion. I’m happy I tried it, and you should give it a try too if you’re in the area but I’ll surely try some other place next time I fancy Argentinian steaks.

Tom Fisher: Great venue with some great options on the menu. I wouldn’t have said it’s STRICTLY Argentine, but a very good approximation and a great effort at the cuisine and style. The service suffered somewhat even when there were plentiful staff and a restaurant with empty tables, but the food made up for it over all.

Daniel: If you want a steak, this is the place to be. We ordered the Mixed Grill and the Fillet Steak. Both exceptionally well prepared. The meat was very nice. Definitely a must if you enjoy some good meat. Staff is super hospitable. 2 Romanian ladies and a gentleman that all know what hospitality is about. Highly recommended.
Martin Fröchtenicht: The restaurant has an cosy atmosphere. We were welcomed very friendly and introduced into the specialities of the menu. Meat lovers have to try the steaks here. Filet, Ribeye, Tomahawk and more are served on a hot stone which makes it a special experience. We had a filet and T-Bone which tasted awesome. You get the steaks at a temperature where you can finish it yourself on the hot stone. You get 3 sauces with the steak. As sides we chose grilled vegetables and fries. As starter the meat balls which we also recommend. The price is quite high but worth for the quality of the meat and the experience.

Kenneth Hansen: Nice og good service. Really really good food - and plenty of it. Weldone mojito drink and perfectly 500gr entrecote steak. And absolutely fair price. Not last time I am there for sure. The owner even serves a nice 12 yrs old whiskey on the house before we left. It could not have been bette for two hungry and thirsty seamen. 👍
Diego Rodriguez: It’s been years since I’ve tasted such a yummy meat. I came here to celebrate with family. The meat was exceptional, the service too. A Romanian-Irish couple will welcome you with a nice smile and make whatever they can to make you feel great. I wanted a natural juice but there was none on the menu. Yet, they offered to make me one nonetheless. If we also take into account that the place was clean. I have to say that I have absolutely zero complaints. If this was a dancing video game, they would be a PERFECT dance move.

Eric Niko: Yesterday we (2 adults and 2 children) went out for a walk in Barcelone. SOSNOWIEC me where between La Sagrada Familia and the Parque Güell we got hungry and coincidently passed the Venue Steakhouse, inviting us already from the outside. The inside of the Restaurant is stylish and you are welcomed very friendly. We have ordered the “Parillada para dos personas”, a big salad and the chicken burger … all excellent tasty. The French fries are hand made, the sauces really fine.

Eric C (The Canadian): Amazing service and experience for those who want to appreciate their steaks. I had the 3 choices and I loved it. Ordered the mash potatoes as my side (warning they take forever to cool down so don’t burn your tongue like I did). Steaks were Delicious and perfectly cooked just the way I like it, rare. So tender and juicy.

Chloé Trevisanut: Smart restaurant with nice setting. Great for meat lovers 🥩 Service a bit cold at first maybe but then fine. The offered starter was tasty, same for dishes and meat well cooked. Tried the tagliatelle with homemade tomato sauce, and the strip loin angus.

adrian: Excellent steakhouse with meats from Spain and elsewhere. The 72€ “tasting” for two was excellent (shout out for the Nesbraska and Wagyu meats). Wines are local and reasonable priced. Beware, portions for side dishes are large, so bring an appetite. Staff is pleasant.

Mario Rothfelder: Super service, superb meats and wine. We had the tasting menu of 3 cuts of 600g total, which we cannot recommend enough. Perfect temperature as requested. Friendly staff smiling and helpful during the entire visit. Price-quality-rario is sublime.
Shane Foley: We had a great experience. Great service, great meal, great environment, very reasonable prices. They served wine and liquor which was good. The only (minor) suggestion would be to have a better explanation of the items on the menu for those who don’t understand them and state what comes with the entrees (I was pleased to hear what came with the entree).

Martin Gharib: Ordered the sharing platter of 3 steaks: Sirloin, Nebraska and Japanese Wagu which was recommended by the waiter. It took 1 hour to order, 30 mins later for the first plate of raw steak to arrive after asking for medium. He said 30 seconds until the next plate which turned in to 20 minutes, it arrived cold. 30 seconds until the next one which took a further 20 minutes, we had to attempt to leave before he brought it out cold. We sent all plates back and 3 others have also sent food back for not being correct. Once the Wagu steak arrives it’s very clearly not Wagu. We questioned it and was told that actually since covid it’s just Australian beef even though in the window it’s still got a Japanese flag, advertised on the menu and website as Japanese and then further recommended twice by the waiter as being Japanese wagu, we refused to pay for it, paying for the drinks and sides we did eat, he then disturbed a neighbouring table to tell us it is wagu beef and we need to pay, who agreed with us that it’s very dodgy. After he “called the police” and wasting 20-30 mins of our time again he settled to take payment of only drinks and sides. I’d avoid at all costs. Waste of money and absolute disgrace.

But the wagyu we sell and serve in our restaurants is from Chile (Third generation of Japanese wagyu). Thank you again for your comments, they help us to improve our service and we are going to think how to avoid further mistakes.

Artur Leka: Not so good so far…. Servis is very slow we order some drinks and after 15 min they arrived and i just got really angry. By far 3 stars is only for the guy with machete and his name was hillrman or something like this very kind guy and gives you details about food and how is prepared. However nice terrace and man in black just standing over there and taking money and sitting people the girls just going around like they have lost something and searching for it. I suggest for good food but in same time not suggest for bad service.
Ryan Tan: UNSAFE, UNPLEASENT, NOT WORTH A VISIT. The food and service was mediocre at best. As with any Brazilian BBQ restaurant, there were plenty of sides and a nice selection of Brazilian cocktails. The sides were a plate of fries, some rice. Black beans and a salad. The salad was poorly cut and the dressing was incredibly sour. The meats served were very moderate as they came out very charred and also very over cooked. One of the cutters was extremely unprofessional, swinging the knife around, carrying the meat without a base letting the juices from the meat fall right on to the floor. I felt that it was very unsafe as he was cutting the meat infront of your face on the plate he had no regard for where or how we was using his knife. Personally as he was cutting infront of me he decided to push the meat downwards and actually hit me in the face with some of the meats. I can’t imagine if it were a small child or senior citizen. The manager of the store was a elderly gentleman dressed in black and almost not caring about anything just strolling around and seating guest that were coming in. I do not recommend you come here at all.
Dany Hernandez: So disappointed with this place, I finally desired to go even when I saw they had bad reviews but I wanted to eat all the meat I could, so results that they charge you a menu price 22€ per person for “unlimited” meat but they serve a tiny portion every time, they don’t have variety just like 2 or 3 kinds and if you spend more than an hour they will skip your table even if you still have the sign that you want more. Don’t go there unless you want to throw away your money and eat miserably

Calorie Wise: This place looks a bit shabby and the service is quite laid back, but it definitely serves its purpose well: stuffs you up with delicious grilled meats!For a mere 13€ you get bowls of salad, french fries and rice and unlimited rounds of rodizio. We were stuffed right after the first one passed ;)

Eileen Holzweissig: One of the best restaurants in Spain indeed. It may seem a bit ordinary from the outside, but the inside, the waiters and the food is amazing. The price is perfect as well. It’s all clean, helpful and friendly.I definitely recommend!
David Gavilan: Great food & service. Try the “wagyu” from Spain if you want tender beef. The meat comes with a small hot plate where you can cook your meat that extra bit. The sangria was also very good. Some tables are a bit small, specially if you have some decoration behind your chair. The place is decorated as if it was a jungle, quite pretty.
Peter A: Great steakhouse in Barcelona. They serve a stone so you can prep it to your preference. We also ordered a number of sides, favorite being the mini baked potatoes. Also definitely make reservations here as it’s always booked.

I had wanted to go for a long time, it seemed beautiful by the decoration and the environment in there But sometimes, the restaurants focus on that but not in the food and service. This one, was great in everything The service from the moment we got in, till the end was beautiful, the waiters were so helpful always And then, the food was actually the star of the night. Tasty meat, we tried picanha and entraña!!! delicious grill vegetables as well and accompaniments It’s a must if you’re in Barcelona.

Tomas Simonkay: FrescCo is an all-you-can-eat diner. They offer several salads, soups, main dishes, deserts, soft drinks and coffees in the price, which was reasonable. Everything was delicious. They also have high chairs for babies. The place is easily accessible by stroller. I recommend this place. Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible by wheelchair or stroller without any problem.

Domingo Baez Barranco: A noisy place, with maybe fresh dishes, but a really poor visual. The salad corner it’s really basic, we were not able to have meat, only basic spaghetti’s with some pizza’s slices. And the “Coffe Corner” described as “ At FrescCo we have a varied selection of desserts for the sweet tooths among us that only our chocolate and lemon mousses, our classic plum cakes, and our delicious seasonal fruit salads can satisfy.” it’s a real scam, the fruits wasn’t presented as a salad, no mousses at all, and a real classic cake without plum… we feel disappointed.

Debbie Fleming: Everything very fresh and well laid out. Choice of 2 soups. Huge salad bar which included normal salads as well as a few cooked and cold served vegetables. Then pastas/pizza and paella and cooked chips/potato fries. Also fruit salad; slice cake; fruits and coffee- eat as much as u want for €12.50! Great for families as there is so much to choose from so people can take their preference.

janos horvath: All you can est buffet with nice presentation but as more people arrive it all gets messy a bit. Fix price but hamvurger, coffee or fresh juice is extra few euros. Tables do stick, should be cleaner. Terrace nice on a sunny day facing the marina and the city. Selection of salads really good, there was one type of pasta, meat course and pizza on the counter. Only one toilet is not the best for such crowd. Good for a quick meal if you do not want to wait for service but would choose a different restaurant next time.

Mohamed Osama (Oss): This is a fantastic steak place! The meat is so high quality and is perfectly cooked. For starters we had the beef croquettes and the octopus ones. For the main we had the 60 day dry aged entrecôte and the slow cooked short rib. Both were magnificent. There was a hot stone on the plate with some beef fat to heat up your steak while eating and give each piece a nice crust. Top restaurant!

Torsten Klein: A really nice decorated place with friendly and attentive staff. However going to a Steakhouse and hearing that 1 out of 4 cuts are not available (In my case the T-Bone) is not reasonable to me. Also the Steaks in the Entrance area seem to have more a „Show“-Character than another purpose. The amount of people served in this restaurant for sure cannot be covered by this. Getting a hot stone to finish the steak without being asked to have one or not also seemed a little bit like shifting the problem of an undone steak to the customer. Overall good, but did not fulfill the expectations
Rob Noble: Fabulous 👌 place....easily my favourite dining experience during our stay in Barcelona. Staff were good fun, helpful and attentive even though it was busy. We never felt rushed to leave. Food was superb and plenty to choose from and the hot cooking stone added to the experience. Great desert options too as well as a great bottle of red to go with the meal. Price wise was happy to pay what we did given the overall quality of the evening.

PQpod Pierre Quibell: Best meal we had while visiting Barcelona. We were both made to feel welcome by the staff, especially the lady with piercings. She was engaging and fun. Food was lovely and having the dessert choice brought to us was a great idea! We went for the basic white wine and it was superb. We both loved the decor, lots of foliage and retro pictures. Nice part of town too.

Nirupa P: Great atmosphere. The food was on point. They have this great concept of slightly cooking the meat in the kitchen and then allowing the customer to finish the cook off to their liking at the table and it works so well. Apart from the steak, the salmon and noodles are a must. It was soy based noodles with seared crispy skin salmon and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Tuna tartar was ok. A little bland. The pistachio dessert were also great.

Hastings Kickboxing Academy: Possibly one of the best meals I’ve ever had, The Cow rib was INSANE, my buddy’s 500G sirloin steak was stunning, waiters were friendly and very helpful, very cool Funky place to eat. Highly recommended. Binny, (our waiter) was cool, needs a pay rise 💰
Arz Cliff: Big restaurant can get busy during the weekends we’ve booked table online. Stake was well presented and tasty the only thing I didn’t want is fries came with it. If you prefer mashed potato etc. instead better to mention it while ordering. Staff were very informative and pleasant!

Miroslaw Binecki: Absolutely surprised with the food quality and the price! Majority of the reviews were spot on! The food was really well done and elaborate considering the price!! We went there around 16:30 so the place was pretty much empty, however the kitchen open which is a plus in Spain. We ordered the monkfish and the filet with foie grad as the main dishes and it blew our minds. The day before we had a 2-star Michelin experience and coming to this was a very nice surprise! Compliments for the cooks, definitely. The only thing was the server who wasn’t very knowledgeable nor excited to be there. He actually seemed to be new as he didn’t know the menu. But other than that, great place to eat some good food at a low price!

Klaas: Yesterday after a day of walking through Barcelona we stumbled upon this nice little steakhouse which turned out to be a pretty decent sized one once we were inside and sat at the table. We came in around 20:50 without a reservation but we were lucky to have a good waitress who helped us with a nice table as some people had just left. The service was very good and so was the food and the restaurant itself as it has a really nice ambience! As a starter we wanted to go with the beef empanadas but unfortunately those were sold out as they require preparation but the empanadas with ham & cheese were offered as alternative and those were great! Of course in a steakhouse you have to eat some meat so went with 2 different types of entrecôt, one for him and one for her. We asked for them to be medium rare and they were perfectly medium rare. For the desert we went with a ferroche and a carrot cake which we could choose from not by a boring menu but by a tray of the actual deserts they have. After our choice was made we got some nice deserts to finish dinner and end our lovely evening here in Barcelona in this nice restaurant!

Dogan Ucar: good place to have dinner. We ordered the aged entrecôte and slow cooked beef ribs. Even the taste was very delightful, I got my steak in medium rare instead of well done (what I ordered). The ribs were delicious. They brought us more meat than we were able to eat (together). Nothing to add. Sangria was not as good as at other places. Honestly, it tasted like they diluted with water.
Tevis Pieper: The food was good, but nothing to rave about. We got steaks and they both came out the same despite asking for different levels of rareness. The service was okay overall, but we had to remind the waiter of a request for additional drinks and they were slow to respond in general. The prices were touristy, as we got more for less when going to some other restaurants. It was an okay spot to eat, just nothing special and more flashy than substance.
Marc Beylerian: Was looking for good steak house… this place is amazing. Try it you wont regret it. I asked for recommended steak, went with that choice which is Solomillo de Novillo Black Angus Argentina for 29.50 euros… great meat. Came with hot plate so that I can warm up the meet or cook it bit more should I want to. Great experience, I will be back! Red Sangria was also amazing!
andrey godelashvili: The food was amazing, especially the meat. However, the service was terrible: the staff looked tired, were rather rude and mixed up our order at one point. We waited for water for almost 10 minutes (wine and salad have already arrived by that point - I think they just forgot). Then we waited for our meat for 25-30 minutes and when it arrived it was almost cold! Admittedly, it was then corrected (once we asked why the meat was cold) by bringing over a mini-grill so then the meat was very good. Next, they have tried to bring us a different wine then the one we ordered (we spotted that the bottle was different than ordered) Overall we had a good time, however dealing with the staff was unpleasant.
piedo: Amazing food. So much choice, great menu and cooked to perfection by Angelica and her team. The staff treats his clients as friends and all in all, this is a good place to enjoy close to the center. The grilled pulpo is like no other. Really great lunch in a warm, casual environment.

I was actually a little bit shocked and surprised when the waiter cared with oil, ketchup and mayonnaise. WOW!! Samantha Smith: We had no reservations but only had to wait 5 min for a table (930 PM on a Monday). It took a bit for the waiter to come to us but I think that was more due for the rush or orders. The staff were polite and attentive. The food was great! We ordered the empanadas de carne, Argentina black angus steak, octopus, sangria and red wine (Merlots and Syrah blend). We HIGHLY recommend the empanadas and the octopus entree! Loved the atmosphere and vibe. Would go again.

Adrian Smith: The place is very cozy and made me feel very comfortable. I took some friends that had never tried Argentine cuisine previously and they were amazed with the plates that are big and delicious. The wine selection is also great, but what I liked the most was the service... the servers had a great attitude and they constantly trying to make my experience better than expected. I will be back, and I hope there is good live music playing in the background to enhance the night....😍

Geneviere Reyes Cabal: Sumptuous and divine atmosphere best at night if you’re looking for somewhere romantic. The food is absolutely fabulous that each bite melts in your mouth even the beef, especially the beef!! Deserts to die for!! Service is so friendly that makes you feel like you’re eating at home. I highly recommend this place.

Diana Urrego: Good restaurant for having meat in Barcelona. They serve you a welcome drink which is very good, and we ordered the picada for 2 but it can really be shared for 3. Different kind of meat and we liked. The only thing is if you don’t want an entire wine bottle they don’t offer a lot for glasses. The other good thing is that I left my charger there and they saved it until the other day.

Jim Alford: Detailed review: Upon entering el Argentino it was empty, but still early so I didn’t think anything of it. Was met by a wall of incense candles that they had burning in multiple spots, main issue with this was it was strong, overwhelming and distracted from the natural flavors of the wine and meat. Had a cocktail to start, very basic ginger ale with vodka and a lime but the 2 young guys running the place seemed to struggle with it...Switched to just red wine after that for dinner, decent for house wine. First plate was chicken empanadas as well as ham and cheese. Both appeared to be home made and very tasty. (This along with the steak is the only reason the review is not less than 3 stars). For the main course I had a 300 gram filet, was cooked very well. My wife had the ravioli with the cheese sauce which came out cold as if it had been refrigerated. Apparently the pasta is frozen and they reheat it and then use the same cheese sauce as a 7/11 to cover it with. After they reheated it a little more it wasn’t worth eating however the boys running the place didn’t seem to care.. We thought about dessert but split before the headache from the incense got any worse! My advice: if you are ordering empanadas to go, it’s a safe bet, otherwise avoid!
